I can't stand the dude. Never liked him no matter what he does.
He tries to be Bob Dylan but it comes off as a fake.
He is a hypocrite of the worst kind.
A wealthy pop star that thinks he speaks for the common man.
I hate his guts and I always will.
If it were up to me, he'd have no music career.
I just ignore him.
I take offence to yoou trashing one of my favorite artists!Bruce Springsteen has done alot to benefits and help the working man through out his career. Its dumb to hate bruce springsteen what the fck has he done to you? Im gettn sick of topix!People spewing hate -what a bunch of fcking bullshit!

No, the two most bootlegged are Frank Zappa and Bob Dylan.
In fact, Zappa was involved in the release of many of his own bootlegs. There are many thousands of them.
Thats interesting ~ I like Zappa and Dylan

I like some of Springsteens songs Like One step forward one step back and Born to run. He is well liked but I'm not a big fan of his but I won't trash him because he has done a lot of benefits for good causes like you say Jim. I liked the thing he did with Roy Orbison several years ago.I saw him and John Fogerty they sounded good together. Bruce does sound better singing with other people I think.

<quoted text>I agree Billy Joel is much better than Bruce Stringbean.
I just always hated Bruce Spring A Ding and wouldn't waste my time.

At least, Billy Joel had some decent songs.

I can go my entire life avoiding Bruce Spring A Ding.

Frankly, I don't give a damn what other people might think.

He still means nothing to me.

I would go as far as saying I'd rather listen to Michael Jackson.

I dislike Bruce Spring A Ding that much.

It is no big deal, you know.

You like him and that's fine.

I'm going to be honest about my likes and dislikes.

<quoted text>I sort of agree except that part about Dylan. Crosby,Stills, and Nash and John Lennon made some good political statements too..The song Chicago by Ghram Nash is good.
That may be true but Bob Dylan's messages have more meaning.

I like the passion Dylan put forth on his most important work.

I also like The Byrds.

Timeless stuff like The Beatles best songs.

It was that social movement of those times which make it real.

I've always liked the Byrds. David Crosby was once a Byrd. Buffalo Springfield did that song For What's it's Worth. It was a protest type song and Later Stills,Nash, and Crosy did Ohio. You are too young to remember The shooting in OHio at the College. Natinal Guard got the ok from Dickhead Nixon to fire at unarmed students. It was Fu--ed up indeed.Your parents probably remember.

Bruce Springsteen has done alot for common working people ,unions ,etc. I cant remember all the details but I read Glory Days by Dave Marsh which was written in the 80's . Bruce Springsteen was getting involved with Labor organisations in different places he toured doing all kinds benefits to help working man. Alot of his music is about his dad who worked dead end job like alot of people day after day to support a family. Also alot of Bruce Springsteen music is about chasing the american dream with vivid imagery of american life ,thats why one of Bruce' favorite Elvis songs is Follow That Dream! People who like Bruce Springsteen are very loyal die hard fans.

You are right He has many loyal fans. I watched him at Super Bowl a few years ago. He has energy but I never much cared for his voice but that's just me.The streets of Philadephia was a popular song but I didn't like it. I like his version of Edwin Star's WAR he sang that one good.

My parents were married young in 1962 to get away from their folks.

They were a few years older than the hippie scene of that era.

They divorced in 1972 and they were dating others in that period.

It was the seventies when they were really into having fun.

Anyway, music had powerful messages but it begun to soften up.

They totally missed out on the British Invasion scene.

Neither of them ever had interest in that kind of music.

Yeah we can understand that, after all Springsteen is more of a GUY'S entertainer, so it's something you wouldn't get. Now go back to your Elvis shrine and burn some more incense, and light a few scented candles you dweeb.

You really are a piece of work,Queen Elvis,I've given one example on top of another of how the media dislikes and in some quarters even HATES Elvis, but you only want to listen to what is convenient to your ears only,Octopus Brain agrees with me about the way Elvis has been treated in the media and many Elvis fans feel the same way that I do ,and then there are dumb media brownnosers LIKE YOU,WHO BELIEVE ANYTHING THE MEDIA TELLS THEM,and people like you are nothing more than STUPID,CYNICAL AND IGNORANT,and your elevator doesn't go to the top floor,so go box with a kangaroo, peanut brittle brain.

Octopus Is a good guy and I really appreciate the rare Elvis recordings he's sent me. I don't have to agree with him on everything. I don't know or need to know why he goes off sometimes . Octopus collects rare Elvis recordings not trinkets !
