<quoted text>Yeah in the mid 70's cars were pretty cheap. I bought a 1966 Malibu for 800 dollars. wished I still had it.
The 60's and 70's were when cars were their coolest.

Unfortunately, things always change.

I like my 2011 car and a friend and I own a classic 1979 Firebird.

Chevy Malibu's were nice but you don't see em much anymore.

Same with Oldsmoble Omega.

I loved that car when I bought it in 1988.

I drove it for 4 years and it never gave me one problem.

It was a 1978 model and had a Nova like body but sharper lines.

I wish I could have kept it.

<quoted text>Was that show where they played a video of Elvis in concert, & his original band played live in person?
Yes it was. Elvis's band could still play.

I loved seeing them play live while Elvis did the vocals.

They should've done some other stuff to balance it out.

The TCB band and The Sweet Inspirations were great.

But after a while I could tell that those guys were getting tired.

The Sweets seemed like they weren't interested in their performance.

I saw it and I was glad I went.

It wasn't Elvis live on stage but it was the next best thing.

I always was to told that The Grateful Dead were the most bootlegged.

I wouldn't cross the road to see Bruce Springsteen.

He is so over rated.

Tom Petty should be more popular than the Springsteen meat head.

But it a public media relations to write about Bruce as being great.

He is yuppie rock. Not the real deal to me.

Kinda like Billy Joel but even Joel is better than Spring A ding.

It would be interesting if you could find out.
I'm sure that Bruce Spring A Ding has a lot of boots.

In my opinion, he is not worth the trouble.

I think the dude is an assh*le even though he is an Elvis fan.

It must be any musician from New Jersey, which is meat head city.

Jon Bon Jovi has the same annoying meat head music.

But Spring A Ding is the worst.

Over rated followers of people with no brains of their own.

Tom Petty proved himself to be a real rocker with passionate music.

I can't stand the dude. Never liked him no matter what he does.

He tries to be Bob Dylan but it comes off as a fake.

He is a hypocrite of the worst kind.

A wealthy pop star that thinks he speaks for the common man.

I hate his guts and I always will.

If it were up to me, he'd have no music career.

I just ignore him.

1. I'm not speaking to you.
2. Show me where I put down Elvis.
3. You should have all your rights removed.

Where would you be without wikipedia?

It's not like I care if other people happen to like Springsteen.

I liked "Hungry Heart" when it was on radio in 1980.

But "Born In The USA" came out and I couldn't stand that record.

I just ignored Bruce Springsteen ever since.

I am more of a Tom Petty fan with his Byrds like material.

Even though Tom Petty puts out new stuff, Springsteen gets the nod.

I'm just sick of the dude.

He is way over rated but Rolling Stone magazine loves him.

Bruce Spring A Ding is a brown noser. It is sickening.

He is such a fake because it is yuppie yippie crap.

I get annoyed by that kind of garbage.

U2 is like that and it is a turn off coming from a billionaire.

Dylan was the only one who could make musical political statements.

I have a large music collection from the rock era.

It is not just Elvis.

You are a pompous ass and very smug.

That is why I usually avoid you.

You do make rude comments on Elvis, which is just ignorant.

That is not my problem but yours.

Well, you discredit truly sincere Elvis fans.

I collect the music because that is what he was about.

I don't try to look like Elvis.

I don't collect plastic Elvis junk or Teddy Bears.

I go for nice Elvis collectibles that are hard to find.

It is enjoyable because he is still my favorite artist.

Beatle fans never get criticized for their collections, do they?

I once knew this woman and everything was The Beatles 24/7.

She was like stuck in the sixties.

What is the difference?

I'm not the cheap Elvis impersonator type of fan.

You seem to think that all Elvis fans are the same. We aren't.

I don't need wiki for my information.

I like Elvis. Strange thing is that he actually did do what Michael Jackson was accused of: fall in love with a young child.

No. Elvis did not fall in love with Priscilla.

He was in the army when his mother passed away and he met Priscilla.

She was someone he could tell his emotional stuff too.

At the time, his father was already dating Dee Stanley.

Elvis was very upset how quickly his mom was being replaced.

Priscilla was attacked by another guy Elvis hired to drive her home.

Elvis found out and beat the dude up in front of Priscilla.

Priscilla saw that Elvis defended her and fell in love with him.

Elvis was discharged from Germany in March of 1960.

Priscilla was heartbroken and gave her parents a lot of problems.

Elvis went back to the US and continued his career.

He felt sorry for Priscilla and invited her to visit him.

Two years later, dude.

Elvis loved Priscilla but he thought she'd forget about him.

All his other girlfriends left him because of his busy career.

Priscilla willingly waiting for him is what Elvis wanted.

It had nothing to do with Michael Jackson and Jordan Chandler.

I sort of agree except that part about Dylan. Crosby,Stills, and Nash and John Lennon made some good political statements too..The song Chicago by Ghram Nash is good.

No, the two most bootlegged are Frank Zappa and Bob Dylan.

In fact, Zappa was involved in the release of many of his own bootlegs. There are many thousands of them.
