Go ahead and post photo I went by now that I posted my pencil drawing. Your the one who needs proof. You might as well post you doing a song and then post a drawing you did(go ahead and trace it)

You will be sentenced to singing and playing your guitar for two weeks and drawing George Harrison free style no tracing.

Maybe they should consider a Hank Williams Sr. postage stamp.I'd like to see a Stevie Ray Vaughn stamp that would be cool.
Yeah, a guitar legend stamp featuring Hendrix would be cool.

Stevie Ray Vaughan would never stand alone without Hendrix though.

I wouldn't mind a rock legends stamp sold as a group of artists.

Hank Williams Sr could easily be made as a country legends series.

The postal service could do a blues legends one:

Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, Son House, Willie Dixon...

That would be awesomely cool.

One of the artists he recorded with was Nick Cave, whose work I've always liked.
Yes, "Hurt" was a deep, chilling song, given how soon he died after his wife June died.
I've read that Elvis introduced Johnny Cash to June Carter years ago.

When Elvis was touring in the early days, the band went to her house.

She came home and Elvis, Scotty and Bill would be there.

June used to cook them breakfast.

Johnny Cash lost his reason for living after June suddenly died.

She really didn't look all that sick.

From what I understand, she died on an operation table.

That almost makes me want to post a photo of myself. I say "almost" because I'm very guarded about my privacy.

My wife and I are very busy because of the new house.

I know that I put a photo of myself up at one time.

But I agree with Len. I want to protect my privacy on this forum.

I never knew that you work with paints.

Your drawings are excellent, Jim.

I bought my copy of "Left A Job In The City"
Octo,

I have my copy of Left A Good Job In The City.

(I will play it this weekend, along with the new Midnight Delight from '75.)

However, I must say I'm rather irritated at the packaging ... so many pics available from Elvis' first NYC show on June 9th, and what do they do? Use pics from the other shows on the front and back covers, and the CD itself!

Even the show ticket displayed in the back cover insert was from the 11th.

Pathetic!

I didn't really pay attention to the details of the artwork.

The audience is so good that it really doesn't matter.

At least the pics were taken at the MSG engagements.

Maybe, they knew it because it was sold with "Double Chicago"

My copy of the MSG show was packaged along with the 1977 concerts.

But wait until you hear it.

Good as it gets sound and an amazing performance.

I'm picky about details too but I can hardly complain.

It is an incredible sounding release.

I had a copy of the August 19th 1975 show as the old "Request Box"

The tape speed ran too slow.

It claims that on "Midnight Delight" the tape speed is corrected.

That one has Elvis's "Bathroom Conversation" on it.

Anyway, the dinner show that night was horrible.

Elvis rushed though the show like he didn't want to be there.

I think you'd like "Left A Job In The City" with its great sound.

It was worth getting, man.
