Thanks for the B-day wishes for my boy. He turned 6. Family came to celebrate on Sunday, but he had his choice of dinner out last night, Pizza Hut!

Same happy returns to you, Greg!

Other son turns 9 in Feb. I'm thinking about taking him to this Rain concert in which I've got tickets for his birthday present, especially since my spouse isn't that crazy about the Beatles. Both my boys are Beatle fans now, wish I could take the younger but I don't think he'd stay awake. Anyway, I think my oldest will be totally amazed if he goes to the concert.

I see that She-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named is back. Short break.

I won two tickets to see Rain back in May of last year. They are awesome and do the Beatles better than any other Beatle tribute show.Your 9 year old will be in for a treat and a great show.

Good to hear. We caught a performance of Rain on PBS last year and you could say that is what caused this Beatles revitalization for me and turned my sons into Beatlemaniacs. Actually, after seeing that and renting Hard Days Night and Help from the library is what turned them into Beatlemaniacs. We had a Very Beatles Christmas this year. I had mentioned in another thread we got one of the boxed sets, and the boys got DVDs of Help and Hard Days Night and a couple of juvenile Beatles books.

Anyway, I was very impressed with Rain on PBS and bought the tickets last fall.

Hey, did any of you hear The Fab Four tribute band? This is funny, but they have a CD of Christmas songs that sound like Beatles songs. We had fun playing some off of youtube this season.

Check it out:

While I'm there, have any of you seen this guy? I think he's hilarious with his Beatles impressions!

Hey Fischer if you go on the Paul McCartney topix forum stop in the Saint Bubba's bar and grill. It's a friendly place where we chat about most anything and trolls don't usually visit there. The videos of the guy doing Parodies of the Beatles is funny. He sure sounds a lot like George Harrison. The Ringo with the big nose cracked me up.
