They're getting in the groove at Seaside Park again, as organizers of the Gathering of the Vibes grapple with final preparations for the annual music and arts festival expected to attract daily crowds of 20,000 people over four days next week.

Crock of ..... It is all about a cheap venue and how much money the organizers can milk out of the attendees, they restrict local business and when they do allow local involvement they tax the participants to the max..great party....

It does NOT cost the city money. The festival PAYS to have the cops on patrol plus RENTs the park for the weekend. Go to Seaside on Tuesday after the festival is gone. You will not see even ONE piece of trash on the ground!
