What kind of people have children when they know they're disabled and can't provide for them?

We , my daughter and I are having a regular meal this year. Taxes can't afford us a special meal....we are not on welfare , if I were I could afford it all! Watching all the food prices going up but my retirement pay stays the same, daughter has put out more applications than there are letters in the bible, still nothing...do we qualify for help, no we do not. Guess I am just thankful to be able to have a roof over my head and a hot meal, after all the years of working and paying out for the needy. Now do not get me wrong...those who are TRULY needed I want to help! However, the system workers have robbed me blind throughout the years!

The old people before you that lived on a fixed income did so by eating cans of wet dog food. Here you are complaining about a normal meal? Stop crying, people have it a lot worse than you or your blown out daughter. Old people today think they know everything, but all they do is complain and unfortunately vote. Thus our politicians cater to a nation of irritated complainers. If you don't qualify for help, then you don't have it that bad, and should stop complaining.

How many thousands of people would go without if it weren't for places like the Jesus Center, just carrying on the mission of Christ. Keep up the good work.

The Jesus Center provided a much needed service. Apart from the long-standing debate about worthiness, there are always people who are in need of a thanksgiving meal--whatever the reason. It may be that some are merely transient or find themselves alone. Every community has some organization which provides this service. Those who volunteered deserve credit and those who are critical really have no right to an opinion anyway. It isn't their money.

The Jesus Center does a wonderful service. It keeps all of the lowlifes on that side of town. I don't know if you have ever known anybody who lived in that neighborhood, but the bums (who get $1100 SSI every month) are constantly stealing off the porches and peeing all over the place.

What kind of people have children when they know they're disabled and can't provide for them?

I am David's daughter. My father has been more then able to provide a happy, healthy life for me over the duration of my lifetime. I am extremely grateful to have my father as a parent. He is a respectable, loving, kind hearted man, and definitley an amazing father.
My dad loves his children more then anything in this world and would do anything to lead them into happy, healthy, safe, and successful lives. They say that a parent's love for their child is like no other. I recently read story on Facebook about a mother who wrapped her body around her child during an environmental crisis and ended up saving her child's life for the price of her own. The moment I finished that story, I thought of my father. He would give anything that he possibly could for his children.
My father has been more then able to provide for all of his children. We all love him and I know that I personally, would give anything for him. My father is a great parent and hardly uncapable of providing. Yes, there were times in which we struggled. There are probably times within your life that you have struggled as well, however; at the end of the day we all had food in our bellies, a roof over our head, and clothes on our back.
I have endless respect and love for my father and all that he has done for me and my siblings throughout our lives. Ohh, and by the way, I ENJOYED the days that we spent at the Jesus Center, not only were we surrounded by many misjudged, good hearted people, but it made me realize how lucky I was to have a family that loved and cared about me enough to make sure that I even had a meal in my stomach and all of the other neccessaties needed to be healthy and happy.
