I send out prayers to all those who lost loved ones at the state fair concert. And I thank all those who jumped in too save others underneath the collapsed stage.I am furious that channel 8 news had to turn the tragedy into a Gay rant and activist event. Yes one of the victims I'm assuming due to the fact one of her fellow co-worker activist said she was a community activist and fighter for healthcare and insurance for the poor. Hint obama voter.Hint he also mentioned her partner, When partner comes to mind , It means gay, why didn't channel 8 just explain she was killed , No need to go into all the details of her life. They had to do a much longer report on that victim knowing she was gay and an activist in her community like obama.Very pathetic channel 8 news. Stick to the reporting, Stop trying to make a tragedy into a gay symbolizing event. I mean her loss was tragic enough already. I don't think her death should had been put up over the rest of the victims killed also.On one of the other victims all channel 8 said was he was a father from broad ripple with two sons and worked security at the event. I have no problem with that, It was clean and concise reporting. All we needed to know. The other one they reported on just began a teaching job right out of college. Again that's all the public needed to know. Why they had to put an emphasis on the lady from chicago killed and let you know more or less she was gay and a community activist clearly shows what channel 8 is for and behind.Report the news, stop becoming the story channel 8!!!

People blaming the fair for this tragedy is stupid, Yes a storm was approaching , Yes storms can be bad, Yes we hold many events during storms downtown at the convention center and Lucas Oil Field , It's called mother nature, And she can be deadly.I look back at the New Orleans tragedy during huhricaine katrina , They had ample warning and they didn't listen, They remained in harms way . Then they whined and blamed afterwards,Sad to see so many govt raised people waiting to be saved always by the big govt and taken care of forever. With all the record heatwave we have been through this summer, What if many dropped dead from heat strokes at the fair grounds . Lets call off the lawyers people.Yes I know people will sue the state fair or the company that set up the stage. That's a given. I have no problem with them being compensated for they're losses for injuries or the loss of a loved one.I think ruining the state fair over a tragedy is ridiculous .Yes over 50 years ago state fair had a huge gas explosion that killed many more people. This is Indiana, Not a whole lot of things to do in this state or city for fun compared to other states and bigger cities. So lets take a breath, clear our minds, and Let the state fair board clear up things and move on.I always had a good time at the state fair with friends and family, COME ON WHO can resist elephant ears.and lemon shakes , least the fair has air conditioned many of its buildings and set up shade everywhere to cool off.I thank them for that also.I love seeing how hard young farmers work in our state and those 4h kids who take the time to work with animals raising them and showing them off.Nice to see teens with goals and not just into smoking weed and getting pierced and inked all over their bodies.Maybe some of those kids see the 4h kids and young farm kids working hard, Might change the way they view life. That's what I love about our state fair.

I have news for you. All four of the women who died, were lesbians. The teacher and collage student were partners. The older woman had been in a relationship with another woman for 10 years. Of course Christine was the only one out to many.

I don't care of they were lesbians, My only problem was how channel 8 news made one of the victims deaths a political statement, Being she was an activist for the poor, And wanted healthcare free for them all and insurance. That was my complaint.

People helping the poor is not a political statement unless, of course, you're a teabag, Rick Perry loving hater of America.

Now I hear the mom of one of the victims is sueing the band because they took the stage knowing the risk.

Even if that's true, I still don't get why they aren't going after those who runf the fair, uless they did that already.

It is very obvious from your poor grammar that English cannot possibly be your first language. What is your native tongue? Keep trying hard and it will come to you soon. English is a hard language to master, so do not give up too soon.

Your last sentence is so very self-descriptive.
