Awesome! Hopefully Scott Weiland can stay clean long enough to make it.

No they aren't. The band rarely makes dates. Sad since they're such a good band.

They acted like a bunch of sissy lalas and couldn't stop fighting each other. From what I hear, they're done. Sad, they were a good band.

You probably will as I have no choice since I live here. I probably will see you as I chase another years worth of drunks off my yard.

It will be a miracle if they keep it together long enough to make it to musikfest. Don't get me wrong...I'll be getting tickets but I won't be holding my breath.

I'll definately be going to this. Alice in Chains was incredible when they were there. Hopefully this will be close in quality. Last time I saw them they were playing at the Airport Music hall with Megadeth. lol

I've been wanting to see them for the longest time and very happy that they will be here. Just hope Scott can keep his act together long enough to make it here in August.

I lived within walking distance of Muskikfest for 3 years. Not only did they 'pee', they also puked and even parked on my lawn/ property. I would move back in a minute though- it was worth the wee (pun) bit of trouble to have such easy access to such a variety of music for over a week in a city that I adore.

As I remember it they got booed off the stage after 4 songs.

I honestly don't remember. I was there to see Megadeth and I never even heard of them before that. lol
It's likely though. That's why I especially want to see them this time around. They were definately a strange match up and many "metal" fans in that era were pretty unforgiving if they didn't like you.

Funny thing is, I pulled out "12 gracious Melodies" the other day because it'd been so long since I listened to it. I'd forgotten how good that CD is.(IMO)

I remember Bon Jovi getting boo'd pretty harshly too when they opened for Metallica on the AJFA tour. I don't recall if they got cut short though.

I own an apartment building on Main Street just down from the Brew Works going towards the Hotel Bethlehem. It's a beautiful place. Unfortunately I have to deal with the people parking in the spots that are reserved (with signs) for the tenants out back. The simple solution has always been this. Once I go to the parking lot and notice cars parked there that should not be (tenants get a sticker for their mirror for the 10 days) I take out my 8" screwdriver and stick it in the side walls of at least 2 of their tires which forces them to get a tow truck. And the best thing is if they do not get their car towed I have it towed for them that night if they decide to leave it there and it goes to the compound which just cost them more money. It's a fun thing to do and keeps the neighbors laughing for days.

This was previous to Plush being released. They were pretty new at the time, and didn't have much of a following. It sticks in my mind to this day because the singer kept saying "We just want to play some music for you guys." They eventually gave up.

Nice one. I think Advenuregirl only remembers what she saw through beer glasses. Lots of 'eazy-going' chicks at musakfast.
