Thats why I like Depeche Mode. They survived through all that and never broke up. Been around since 1980.

I don't know......$75 a ticket......travel miles to some venue....deal with traffic......cost of gas.....to hear a bunch of geritol-ladened old geezers play thier hits which I've already heard a thousand time....I already bought their records, tapes and greatest hits CDs.....

I don't know.....I loved the day back when.....we were all young and excitable.....sorry to say....those days are now in the history books...or rather in computer websites

$75 per ticket.....I think this old man will go to McDonald's and gum some french fries.....long live rock & roll....

I suppose the Beatles are out of the question, huh?

One easy way for me to deal with this problem is to continue to ignore the acts that I ignored twenty-years ago.

Or you could complain and moan because some dudes want to make some money by playing music and there are some other dudes willing to pay em for it.

Or we could all end it now Kevorkian style so as to not upset the youngsters with the loud music.

I wouldn't go to one of those shows if the tickets were given to me. I'd go see a Cannibal Corpse, Arch Enemy, Deicide or Obituary show any day. I'd rather pay the $30 to see these bands play "real metal", rather than see some washed up bands that are only performing for the sake of wanting more money. The only true metal is DEATH METAL !!!!!!!

Robert, you're just upset that Kix is not reuniting and they closed down Hammer Jacks again. Don't worry your mullet will be back in style soon.

Sadly all the reuniting bands were not wanted when they first came around. Yet another dose of boy bands? Who needs it? The only reunion I'd pay to see is Pink Floyd and from recent reports, we won't be seeing that.

Well all these reunion and bands like the Scorpions that have been together for over 30 years and still make great music get no attention from the music media in north america ,, their latest album released a year ago today on lead singer Klaus Meine birthday .. Humanity Hour 1 .. a awesome album that received no air play at all from 98 Rock or any other stations!
all original tunes no remakes like which seems to be the loved trait of todays newer bands..
To The point a band with over 30 years of music thats lyrics speak of world peace, love and good times and the radio would rather play remakes and songs that promote sex and violence .. someone got it right on the nose though , its all about money ... Im sorry but the media needs to show the Scorpions some love .. and their still rocking the world like a hurricane ,,

true the scorpions are not the only band who have made a comeback in recent times- that does not make their sound something to be ignored.
a lot of young kids are rediscovering what us older ones already knew-- classic rock kicked butt, sounded great, and lyrics that spoke to you. can one say that for most groups?
the ppl of media should recognize a band for a new album when its released and play it before passing judgment on it or the band.

Just pointing out, Scorpions have NOT made a comeback. They have never even stopped doing music or touring, so they can't do a comeback.
