*Wow! What the?! Those are the responses a lot of folks are saying when they hear the news that in Chicago, the nationally syndicated "Fly Jock," Tom Joyner is no longer on the radio.

That means that when listeners in the Chicago area turn on their radios to WVAZ-FM 102.7, this morning, they'll be hearing Steve Harvey instead. The nationally syndicated Steve Harvey show was, until today, only heard on WGCI-FM. Get the scoop at EURweb.com.

Steve Harvey morning show is funny and informative. Tom Joyner to me is played out. Its time for something/someone new to take over. Steve Harvey and Michael Baisden are in. Tom was good for his time, but now that time is up. Hats off to all of them.

Steve Harvey's show is for those who aren't really interested in current events. If you just want to laugh on your way to work Steve Harvey is the show to listen to. Tom Joyner's show is a full spectrum there's comedy, entertainment, but there is also the political aspect. Without Tom Joyner's show Barrack Obama would have never gotten as many black people to vote for him. He was instrumental in the election. How many times did the President appear on Steve Harvey? I like Steve Harvey but he has a ways to go before he can rival the likes of Tom Joyner. Let's not even get into the Family Reunion, The Cruise and all the scholarships. This has nothing to do with the shows it's between the radio corporations

I do recall that he was on there several times and many times on Michael Baisden. He is a rival with Joyner and looks like he is taking over. Again I did like Joyner and he does a great job, however there is a time to give someone else a shot. Try something new. Harvey is still old school with a different twist than Joyner. No need for them to battle. There are enough folks in the world to listen to both.

This has nothing to do with Tom Joyner or Steve Harvey. Neither of them were involved in the decision. Neither of them were probably even knowledgeable of the change. These are corporations battling for market share. The station that broadcasts the TJMS is owned by the corporation that hosts Steve Harvey's syndicated radio show. The significance of the drop is Tom Joyner has a long standing history in Chicago, so it was sentimental not necessarily a financial blow. Steve Harvey isn't even in the same league with Tom Joyner and it shows how much the corporations care about it's listeners.

You should be concerned that Clear Channel wants to replace a black radio icon with a comedian. I was at the Inauguration, I clearly remember the morning as we traveled to DC from Virgina hearing the Steve Harvey Show. The entire show was just a bunch of joking around with nothing informative. I was looking desperately for the Tom Joyner Morning Show because I knew they would have the information on where to go, schedule of events, etc;. It's a scary thing that some people don't even see what Clear Channel is doing. My next move will be XM Radio.

Steve Harvey's comedy is so immature. How old are you?

If the African American race was at the bottom of the barrel (by the way, there is only one "l" in the word), you wouldn't be here. African Americans built this country with their bare hands. After that, our ancestors had to fight for civil rights. What have hispanics done, other than come in after all of the struggling just to benefit off of our hard wordk like leeches???

By the way, Caucasians hate you. Just get into a conversation and ask an African American what whites think about you. I'll tell you what some have said to me..."I can't stand them, they are all over the place taking jobs, send them back where they came from, they are dragging our country down..." Also, there are reasons other than cost of living that is driving a mass migration of American blacks and whites away from places like New York and South Florida back to their roots in states like Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee and the Carolinas ...hint, hint. We want to live around less of you and none of you leeching ingrates if possible!
