The practice of safe sex means using a condom to prevent the spread of sexually transmitted diseases and preventing pregnancy, but like most things, nothing is absolute and there are always myths surrounding what magical properties condoms can and can't perform.

Excellent article, a point to echo is regarding the importance of knowing how STDs are transmitted and what the symptoms include.(e.g. some STDs can be passed by skin-to-skin contact).
