Stinkin' reboots. Ever heard of "originality"? How many excellent screenplays languish unmade, while we get yet another Batman, Spiderman, Jason or Freddy? Even if you're only going to make movies adapted from books, I think I noticed a couple hundred thousand books at the library that haven't been adapted yet, but might be fantastic. I won't hold my breath for a Hyperion Cantos or Dark Tower movie, while they churn out another Robocop and Poltergeist (when there wasn't a damn thing wrong with the first ones).
