Chris Cornell has defended his new Timbaland -produced album 'Scream' . The album has been lambasted by fans, critics and even Cornell 's fellow musicians.

lambasted?Poorly-received?Mism atched? In a word - NO! Beyonce is beyonce, talented obviously but you know what to expect, Britney is britney- talented? Up to you. Etc etc, you get the point. But you can kind of tell its them because -you know what to expect. Cornell, however, seems to evolve musically faster and with more frequency than even the so called 'professionals critics' can keep up with. A musician of 30 years, here is my take on the new cornell timbaland collaboration. The grunge era as good as it was guys,and it was brilliant at the time - is history, accept it - time to move on.Chris Cornell is forging a trail into the future of music - walk backwards through life if you want, but you'll miss all the good stuff thats yet to come.

Moi, Chris cornell does rock, he cant do other stuff, YOU need to except THAT. This album IS junk, he should stick to what hes good at, cuz he IS good at anythin rock.
