Curious, as the SNP has recently been pro-gay. Of course, were it not for the ancestry of a gay man, Scotland might still be independent.

Those who want to vote on equal rights want to vote on the rights of others, but not their own. When a majority wants to vote on the rights of a minority, the concept of equal rights is discarded.

John Adams, the second U.S. president, bluntly stated that "the majority has eternally, and without one exception, usurped over the rights of the minority."
