He was a fool in the first place for joining Bush's war built from lies, although it was commendable that he stepped up to the plate, and served in Afganistan, where we should be fighting Al-quida, but in the end, he gets shot from his own men, and Bush's propaganda machine covered this up because thats what they did with news that wasnt conveinent with their war policy.

Ok lets not throw the word fool around. He was a man who saw his duty and did what he thought was right. Friendly fire is always hard to accept. Sadly it happens far to often. As far as your oppinion on warfare. My question would be have you ever experanced it? Do you have any clue what is ment by the fog of war ? No one wants to admit we made a mistake and some one died as a result. You may not agree with the war and thats your right. I went to war to ensure your rights. But FOOL I think the shoe fits you much better.

This may be tin foil hat stuff, but his journal was burned along with his uniform. There were three shots in his forehead fired from 30 yards, and the story is that he was due to come home on leave and planned to speak out against the invasion of Iraq. He was killed to prevent this. Now I don't know if any of this is true. I haven't seen any documentation or been able to second source this. Has anyone heard or seen this anywhere?

My heart goes out to this lady and her family. It was obvious during her interview that she was fighting back tears. She has been put through a very special brand of hell by the Bush thugs.

Mean Eugene, thank you for your service.
