Woman Forced to Remove Nipple Rings Before Boarding Flight

Well, this is a new one. And it's attracted the attention of high-profile lawyer Gloria Allred (pictured) as well.

According to Allred, Mandy Hamlin was forced to remove her nipple rings by the TSA prior to boarding a flight. And, she was handed a pair of pliers to do so.

Seriously if you need pliers to remove them dont you think there not going anywhere. What is a midget going to use them to swing through the air over the flight attendent to kick the cock pit door open. I think this person just hit pay day. Can we get some common sense back into the world.

Seriously? I am sure glad I don't fly. I'll drive my little car thank you. It is still cheaper (even with today's gas rates) than 3 round trip tickets for the family.

Come on it was JEWELRY, TSA deserves it.

There is no reason for someone to have to remove body jewelry before going onboard a plane. They don't make women remove earrings and they don't make men remove watches anymore.... what's the point behind this?

That alone will win the lawsuit. Do these TSA agents not think before they act? It's simple logic.

If she's single I want her name and number. Any time you see the high profile sharks circling, there's money to be made. Does that nipple thing hurt, when you put that ring on it? What did TSA think? She was going to beat the pilots to death with her nipples? Our tax dollars at work.

Only a TSA agent would require removal of a piercing. Like this will affect security of flying.

WAY Overkill in this issue.

Maybe the person was trying to contact an alien life source and the TSA agent felt this would harm the security of the flight?

I dont understand. The choices the TSA evidently has for body rings is pat-down, visual inspection, or removal. They told her to remove the nipple rings. Did she really want the other choices instead?

Whats the complaint here, I dont understand?

I think she has a good case because, they don't make people wearing rings on the fingers remove them.

The TSA is probably the most inept of all government agencies. It looks like an affirmative action organization gone haywire. Many times I've given up nail clippers only to be given a five inch knife and fork on-board to eat with. Insanity gone mad at a huge cost to the traveller and taxpayer. With the entry proof armoured cockpit doors a nail clipper will not be suffieceint to force entry. Try telling that to someone in uniform without a GED.

comon sence would be to not have metal objects stuck in the nipples to begin with that could be mistaken for bombs on a aircraft.

Attach a cat leash to it and you can lead her around anywhere. If she gets B*tchy just give it a yank.
