"Illegal Alien" Halloween Costume Draws Fire

Apparently, this is meant to be funny, but immigrants and immigrant rights groups are not finding it so. It's an illegal alien immigrant costume, and it was available at Target's website (click the above image to see a screenshot of their post), which has since taken it down. Many other retailers are still selling it.

I think it's kind of funny. But clearly Target is worried about offending a vocal latino demographic, and they've changed their policies accordingly.

I don't know why anyone would make this a "liberal" issue, though... unless they were simply stuck in a partisan rut.
