I'd worry about the talent, too. Seth Rogen? Maybe you could find someone who is – I don't know – funny?

I would love to see Seth Rogan as a Ghostbuster. That would be awesome!

I think the game coming out should be considered the 3rd movie. Too much time has passed for the actors and I don't think they could handle it physically. They'd need a whole new cast to pass the torch (or is that proton pack) to.
It's not said, but Rick Moranis won't be in it. He retired with the money he earned with "honey I shrunk the kids" so he could take care of his daughters after his wife died suddenly. I'm only bringing this up because he's the kind of actor Hollywood needs more of: someone who'd put family first. |

You make some good point… a part 3 might be good idea for the brand to introduce the brand to those you haven’t seen the first two, but for people like us it might not be a good idea … *Visit WeRiddle.com and get paid $5000 to solve riddles* you bring up some good points... |

Why would she need to be in a new ghostbusters movie??
I would under no circumstances like to see her character in it. |

He does voices once in a while, given the right amount of money Im sure he would do it. |

It is gonna be a video game, not a movie. Bill Murray is writing it. Should be cool

There is zero chance that this is a good idea

Agreed. Remakes are very hit or miss but this could work with the right young cast AND a strong script which modernizes the story, and isn't afraid to have fun with it. Starsky and Hutch, Charlie's Angels, the Brady Bunch, and Get Smart were remakes that worked for this reason. They were hilarious because they used actors in their prime, adopted fresh story lines, and took chances by poking a lot of fun at their underlying shows (and their eras of orgin) in the process. Blues Brothers 2000 was a classic case of one which failed. Landis tried to continue the same old storyline with the same gags that worked in '79 but just ended up looking tired and out of touch two decades later. Even if John Belushi had been alive and starred in it, I still highly doubt it would have been any good because of the approach. Wouldn't mind seeing Weaver, Murray, and especially Moranis appear in it, but not in main roles. Cameos work well if done right. |

Sounds like another brainless, blatent cash grab by poeple who have nothing new to contribute except old, stale ideas. reminds me of a W quote:
“You can fool some of the people all the time, and those are the ones you want to concentrate on.”- George Bush |

Why do you need a "hollywood actor who puts family first"?
What do you care about their personal lives? Weird statement... |
