Good list. For prominence I'd add Alley Oop, both the song (Now this cat's name is uh, Alley Oop ...) and the newspaper strip. Even though it is obscure, I'd add the film, Quest for Fire, with Ron Perlman and Rae Dawn Chong. The Geico cavemen are funny for 30 seconds, but can they be funny for 22 minutes?

You forgot Land of the Lost with child caveman Chaka! Definitely the best caveman show in the annals of TV history...the Geico cavemen have a high standard to live up to. Chaka rules!
