By Paul Cashmere

Sean Paul did not make it to Australia for the Raggamuffin music festival yet he is still being advertised as one of the headline acts.

Ticketmaster Australia is still selling tickets mentioning Sean Paul as a headline act despite the no show at the first show on January 26, 2011.

Sean Paul is NOT coming to Australia.

The Jamaican reggae star tweeted this morning “This msg is 4 all my Australia peeps!!! I’m extremely upset that I couldn’t make it 2 raggamuffin. I am sorry”.

“4 reasons beyond my control I couldn’t make it. Truss mi if thing were diff. AUSI AUSI AUSI RRR”.

Guess there is the Sean Paul on this forum, netbanger, and that Sean Paul is posting from Australia! Whew! Thought the show would be in jeopardy...All joking aside though, if Sean Paul isn't able to get to Australia, immigration laws in Australia could be a part of why Sean Paul may not be able to bring his venue there. Strict immigration laws prevent countries from enjoying the best acts in the world...wise up, bigots!

Yeah...big joke, huh? For a world that is supposed to be free for everyone, it certainly is restricted, because some people think that they are better than others, right? Bigotry is a joke that you can laugh at, huh netbanger? Good to know...

It's nothing to do with not being sure.

It's got to do with a slight amount of sarcasm.

You still didn't answer. Why are we supposed to care?

It's pretty doubtful that anyone that may be classed as a Raggamuffin would truly be an Artisan of any kind.

Michelangelo - Artisan.
Monet - Artisan.
Raggamuffin - A marijuana-laden baked good.

That was slick, kid...but then I guess you have to keep your spirits up when nobody really wants to come to New Zealand anyway...Sean Paul is a well known global figure...what artisan has New Zealand put out there for the world to recognize? I'm drawing a blank...

Oh, that's not fair. Everybody loves us. Well, everyone except 'tweety bird'. He hates everybody including himself.

Ok, internationally recognised artisans in their field. Here's a couple or three:

Sir Ernest Rutherford (1917, first man to split the atom)
Sir Keith Park (RAF commander during the Battle of Britain)
Sir Brian Barratt-Boyes (heart surgeon)
Sir Peter Jackson (director)
Sam Neill -(actor)
Sir Ivan Mauger (6 time Motorcycle speedway world champion)
Sir Peter Snell (runner, three times Olympic Champion)
Steve Williams (caddy for Tiger Woods)
Bob Fitzsimmons (world boxing heavyweight champion)
Wynton Rufer (soccer player, voted Oceania Player of the Century)

That enough for ya. Not bad for huh?

Out of the ones you mentioned, I will give you credit for Sir Peter Snell, Sam Neill, Sir Peter Jackson, Sir Ivan Mauger and Sir Ernest Rutherford. Wynton Rufer is a stretch, but since it is football, I will allow that one in as a recognizable icon of New Zealand. The caddy is out, boxing is frugal right now, so that excludes Bob, and there is no need to glorify war heroes as icons of the world...we are trying to stop wars, not praise them, so Sir Keith Park may be a national hero of New Zealand, but he gets no recognition as a global icon from me...thanks for the list though, friend!
