In its quest to achieve gender equality Jamaica produces its first female PM. Bold and progressive move by a third world nation wreecking from economic and social turmoil. Nonetheless, Jamaicans have proven once more that they are open minded and progressive. Jamaica's trouble comes from its draconian laws and beliefs, and the lack of love for life. The Jamaican Intelligencia weild a two edge sword. One side of the blade makes it hard for the average Jamaican to get a proper education and/or trade, hence, keeping him/her in a state of poverty and allegiance to the highest bidder. This side of the sword ensures the Intelligencia's dominance and control of Jamaican society and economics. On the other side of the sword the Intelligencia for the sake of political support and popularity agrees with the uneducated selfish folks on draconian beliefs. For instance, in America not everyone agrees with homosexuality but everyone will agree that killing them is certainly not solving anything. Furthermore, it is a foolish builder that destroys the cornerstone of his own building just because it is a little too pink. There are a lot of gay people in the world, your brother, your mother, your child, your friend, a relative could be gay. As a matter of fact every gay person on the earth is one of those things, someone's relative or friend. Jamaica must move to another stage of progressiveness and move beyond people's sexual orientation. A person's sexual preference is his/her own, and only that person will have to speak to GOD regarding that issue in their life. Until Jamaican folks can understand that life is precious and that killing is worst than being homosexual, Jamaica can never truly be progressive. To murder someone is to take away from his/her family and cause them pain, and it robs the country of its earning potential. The dead cannot contribute anything to Jamaican society. The intelligencia needs to make education and especially higher education more accessible to the common Jamaican so that they can be exposed and learn that a person's sexual orientation is their own business. To kill a homosexual is to kill someone's relative, friend, coworker, brother, sister, mother, and/or father. Anyone in the world would rather live and visit a nation of homosexuals than a nation of murderers. Jamaica needs to address the issue of life, and the seriousness of taking it. The master builder cannot continue to throw away his bricks if he expects to build anything.

I think that sean paul is a good artist, even though i am more interested in gospel music. I admire what he has done to help make jamaican music known throughout the world. He is representing his country, and that is a good thing. I think he should keep it up,because it will help bring jamaica in a better light.
