Until the State of Massachusetts offers the same filming tax credits/breaks as nearby NY, there is NO WAY any studio is going to approve shooting long term here. While their intentions are good, this group of folks are completely unrealistic.

The Woodstock movie shot EVERYTHING in NY while they were here, sure they spent some money here on hotels etc., but 90% of the money spent was in NY. MA needs to get their head out of the sand and realize they're missing the ability to raise quite a bit of cash with each production shoot.
