A Little of What You Fancy @ 19 Newtown Lane in East Hampton is where it's at! Forget the corporations...make your money count with quality. The Fancy has been serving the Hamptons for 30 years and there is good reason for that. Great service and reasonably priced gifts from Barbour jackets, Kiehl's, French candles and soaps, inspiring stationary, soft and pretty Indian cotton bedding, clothing & tabletop to Benchmade knives and Surefire illumination tools. A Little of What You Fancy lives up to its name!

Umm, what happened to the Hamptons west of the canal (i.e. Westhampton, Westhampton Beach, Quogue, East Quogue, Hampton Bays, etc.)? There are plenty of new places to shop there as well. It would have been nice if the story mentioned at least one place.

I can buy a cotton t-shirt for $15.00 at target I don't need to buy one for $150.00 at a " Hampton" store.
Please they think they are getting something so special because they shop in the hamptons at one of these so-called designer stores. What a crock! The joke is on them for spending that kind of ony and does anyone really care anyway?

The Hamptons does have affordable places to shop, for those who are not trendy, being polite here. Where the locals shop. I like Kmart in Brigehampton they have stuff that everyone can afford. There are also jewelery stores in southampton that are priced for a middle class working joe. The hamptons at one time was mainly fisherman, who didnt shop at trendy stores. Where did the good old days go!

It's nice to see how they're keeping things affordable here in the Hamptons. Who needs low prices? Yet, people wonder why Main Street isn't that crowded. BECAUSE NO ONE CAN AFFORD ANYTHING THERE ANYMORE!!! The store rents are astronomical the only places that can afford them are corporations. People who live here year 'round get shut out during the summer when the rich and stupid show up and ruin this great area.
