Where's that from, Faux News?
Look it up. You can hear the whole speech. It wasn't an article, it was the budget director actually talking with his own mouth.

Anyone who was thinking realistically knew there are only three ways you can insure an additional 32 million people. Raise taxes, raise insurance premiums or cut medical services and probably a combination of all three.

Within a decade the issue will be hospital consolidation. Does anyone think BMH will be here when they decide to consolidate?

I predict the outpouring of outrage will be visited upon congress in 2010.

Where there is a will, there's a way. Our tone deaf dem-lead congress? No, more like really deaf dem congress just proved it.

Through brassknuckled politicing, holding democrats on weekends and into the night (morning?), a brainwashing technique no doubt, bribes, shameless threats of parliamentary
so-called provision procedures and every other dirty trick in the book-they did it. And, likely a new chapter in that book.

What can be done, can be undone. Although I do not want a republican in office, the tea partiers also sorely lacking.

Most of US right or left of center. Obama ran as a center-left candidate, he is nothing but a liar. I saw the handwriting w/his cabinet picks.

Though I noted of his leanings, w/his obvious intelligence, I never thought he would be as bad as he is.

I now see him for the dedicated globalist he is, as well as the corresponding agendas. His arrogance and pride, as well as the resultant blindness to folly, and examples as picking fight w/Fox News, other conservatives, tea partiers and Israel.

McCain crazy train-never an option. Palin who has proved not brightest crayon in box, his undoing, as evidenced by shift in polls after, as well as conservatives and centrists running for the door as they saw the fire.

Seizing upon Joe-the-plumber who was not even a real plumber, but tax cheat, and although benign, not bright crayon either.

Surrounding himself w/numbskulls showed extremely poor judgement, and the pitiful moment he was stood up by 'Joe', and stood there calling into the crowd incredulously, another gamechanger.

The dirty politicing done by conservatives by flooding internet and media (we know how this works), w/horror stories (wrong horror stories), lies, slander and huring more vitriolic bs than I had heard in a very long time.

Though I searched, I could not find any evidence to back up some of their foolish claims. This was a really bad move on their part, and a part of their undoing as well. People can see through this garbage w/mere average intelligence and critical thinking skills.

Neither side gets it, that vast majority abhor the obnoxiousness from the likes of Palin, Coulter, Limbaugh, Mahr, Garofolo, and Olberman to name a few. the're in a dead heat for who gets the prize, but definately incing forward.

Tea party movement, though many involved are merely those who do not believe they have a true voice, and reasonable people who see the looming bonfire of our nation, becoming hangout for and being co-opted by disgruntled republicans, far-rightwingers, McVeigh-like loons, and fringe elements. There is a huge split over this. True independents who think for themselves shouted down and insulted by those who are not.

Their only hope? Legalizing illegals.

God help us.

Northstardust: I'm not sure who you like or don't like based on your post. It appears you hate everyone, but at some point, you need to stand for something. I thought your characterization of Joe was mean spirited. He was standing in his own neighborhood, asked a question that Obama and his media cronies didn't like, so they proceded to demonize him and make public, documents that are covered by privacy laws. Would you want to ask a question (say of the NRC) and have the media find and make public your divorce records, tax records, credit card statements, etc., etc., etc.
If you want to assign blame for McVeigh, that would be Clinton's fault becasue of the Waco bombing that killed dozens of innocent women and children. As for Palin, she is the one who said that health care would be rationed and was laughed at by the media, now we find out it will be.
If you really think the right is the one doing all the hating, please go to Freedomworks. org and look at the article entitled, Stop the Haters.

Beaglesarecute:(yes they are very cute) Not a hater. And, btw, you sound somewhat hateful yourself.

Isn't that how it goes most of the time? When ppl make these over-the-top accusations, they usually end up proving themselves to be what they accuse others of?

Point? Slim pickings for true independents.

Obnoxious idealogues and using obvious underhanded tactics, no matter the politics or opinion, only hurt their own cause.

McVeigh an example of taking it too far, for a so-called cause. I see ramblings such as this on tea party sites, but also many who are not very happy w/this element among their ranks and make that very clear.

Joe the plumber? Oh please. Never expected that 'don't talk about my boy that way' rant. Sheesh.

Sheeples only tolerate other sheeples. I tolerate them all, but no, sorry, I will tell it like it is whether you like it or not. Not afraid to call spade what it is, a spade.

Whoever is able to send clear message of bringing us back to our constitutional roots and tell it like it is, will unite vast majority who, as I said, are independents.

Soo, your 'hater' label well known tactic used only by those to mischaracterize those who do not see it their way.

Everybody's Crying Mercy Culture

Mose Allison's Everybody's Crying Mercy just came up on my iPod. I posted the lyrics once before, but it's worth doing again. Written over 35 years ago, but it could have been yesterday:

I can't believe the things I'm seein'
I wonder 'bout some things I've heard
Everybody's crying mercy
When they don't know the meaning of the word
A bad enough situation
Is sure enough getting worse
Everybody's crying justice
Just as long as there's business first

Toe to toe, touch and go
Give a cheer, get your souvenir

People running round in circles
Don't know what they're headed for
Everybody's crying peace on earth
Just as soon as we win this war

Straight ahead, knock em dead
Pack your kit, choose your hypocrite

You don't have to go to off-Broadway
To see something plain absurd
Everybody's crying mercy
When they don't know the meaning of the word

Nobody knows the meaning of the word

Why? So you can have another post to p*** and moan about?

Nor 'sure? Made quite clear and rather specific. If you were not trying to label me, not an issue anyways.

'At the end of that day'-I will make up my own mind, you nor anyone else will, madam.

'Mean spirited'? Truth is often bitter, whether you like it or not. Those who bring it to daylight often target of those pesky 'hateful' comments...

Mouse click investigations-lesson to those who are uh,'untruthful'? I cannot believe the things ppl still try to get away with. When someone is in front of camera w/mike under nose, not the place to to hone bs artist skills.

If I made statement to NRC, and used info which was false, and purported to be something I was not, I could expect this to be made known.

Palin was not the first to say what she said. Her Facebook page comments are broadcast everywhere which is all this attention seeking narcissist cares about.

I have my own take on McVeigh and fits none of the 'theories', however,'at the end of that day' all are responsible for own actions, so to blame Clinton or anyone else, rather 'hateful, don't you think...

Rant away...its your God-given right.

And, no, I did not go to your 'link'-'hater' has become leftwing mantra and is in the playbook. Others also use it when lack proof or evidence. Childish attack the messenger tactic.

Has become somewhat of a shibboleth as to ones politics...

Go back and read the posts. The questions silly-answers in front of nose. Wiki and search engines answer many questions.

Explanations of minute details tiresome after a while.

No stalking here! I did not take the bait-joke is on you detective.

As anyone can plainly see, I became aware of the silly questions, and obvious badgering. Seeing where this was likely headed, I discontinued the ridiculousness.

Many thanks for your verification.

What does this make you? A 'stalker'?
