I refused to spend money to see this movie. From the trailers, I could tell it would be nothing but crap and a far cry from the original TFATF.
I sent a friend to see it instead. He wanted his moeny back because it was crap. He left early. He said there were no interesting character relationships or arcs. Only fake teenagers played by people too old for the parts, barely clad females and bunch of cars. The storyline sucked so badly he left early. First weekend they made a measly 27 mil compared to some 38 mil by the original TFATF.
Ain't nothing like the real thing baby which was the original TFATF. More power to Diesel.

Cooking and musing as usual. This time I'm making table acorns, pickled beets and other goodies.
Now I know that Diesel is burnt up by passion to make Hannibal of Carthage. But I have heard nothing past the measly report he was getting in on a deal to do a pilot cartoon series on it via BET, owned by another bigger enterprise. I also have heard nothing past the speckly report of his big screen epic of HoC also. That has been in the works longer than Satan and nothing about its progress. I want news. I want bald, muscled news! So there.
