It is high time the millions of adoptees in this country be treated equally under the law. Life, liberty and property....our records, our right.
Secrecy is not, nor has it ever been, a viable (or legal) reason to keep one from their very own identity.

I was adopted and hired a private investigator to find my birthfamily. They were happy to be found and it was a blessing to us all. Money couldnt buy the peace I found!

I agree wholeheartedly. I could not buy the peace finding my birthfamily gave to me. It is too bad my records were sealed and I had to wait 40 years to find them!
