Mexico is a beautiful country. However, the drug trafficking has given it a bad image. The less tourists have to fear for their safety the more the country will improve its reputation as a travel destination. If you have ever been to Mexico, visit Travel Explosion online to share your experience.
If you want to live---STAY AWAY FROM MEXICO. TOO MUCH CORRUPTION AND NO ONE WILL COME TO YOUR RESCUE---because the government doesn't give a d-mn about ANY FOREIGNERS OR THEIR OWN.

One thing that is never discussed is what is happening with Ft. Bliss and Juarez. Cannot imagine that travel to Juarez is allowed by any military personnel. That lack of travel is a huge drop in revenue to Juarez. We were there every weekend. Mechanics to work on our cars, eating at the resturants, bars, entertainment, etc,. Many GI's lived in Juarez since the housing was so cheap. Sad that it has come to this.

Juarez is off limits to military.
Mexico is getting Billions from the US Taxpayer, its the average person in Juarez that is being RAPED MURDERED, AND ABUSED. sometimes by the MEXICAN MILITARY OR POLICE.
Juarez business is moving to El Paso, where the population of Juarez goes, so comes their problems.
we will see.

I can see where El Paso will become the murder capital of the world with the cartels fighting over routes all over the U.S. Remember Lee Chagra ? His activity was in the 60's and 70's. He attended El Paso High School in the mid 50's. He was one of the leaders in the drug trade. Lebanese decent.
Bliss at one time was an open post where the GI's carried a permanent pass. Have not been there in over 4 decades but can see the post being locked down with all the possible clients for the cartels.

The Un-intended Consequences of Pandering to the Hispanic Community by Politicians and not Enforcing US Law is CHAOS on the Border, this will bite America Soon and when it does all the Open Border Advocates will go deep underground for it will not be pretty.

Reelection is running this Government, Reelect the King and see what he does then, More Chaos on the same order me thinks.

If there becomes one major issue that will sink the Obama ship, it will be the "Fast and Furious" gun smuggling operation. THEY are denying knowledge of events and attempting to distance themselves from the sorry affair, just as Nixon did with "Watergate".
The lies and coverup will become their downfall.

Dismembered bodies found all over Juárez

http://tinyurl.com/6fwtuzt

JUAREZ -- The dismembered bodies of four men were found throughout Juárez on Tuesday in a grotesque display of brutality.

Some of the body parts were left in front of an elementary school and a day care center.

Heads, arms, feet and other severed body parts were scattered at various locations in the city, which has been in the grasp of a deadly drug-cartel war for nearly four years.

The mutilations were an apparent act of emerging rivalries with new drug organizations, according to messages left with the body pieces.

The first body parts -- those of two men -- were found around 7 a.m. near the intersection of Dorado and Pino Seco streets, in colonia Bosque Bonito.

The victims' heads were near an ice chest with a message that read "New Juárez cartel, continue recruiting, we will receive you here."

About 2:30 p.m., residents reported finding four severed feet along with narco messages near Avenida Reforma, Channel 26-KINT reported.

Other body parts were later found throughout the afternoon at other places, including in front of a day care and a torso dumped outside an elementary school when classes were about to end for the day.

A spokesman with Chihuahua state prosecutor's office said the deaths are under investigation.

Boy you are naive! Who in their right mind would show or warn you of any country's worst nightmares to travelers in a Travel website when the idea is TO PROMOTE TOURISM? We learn alot from people on the forums WHO LIVE IN MEXICO and who EXPERIENCE these horrific tragedies on a daily basis. Because even Calderon wants all bad violent reports kept from the media because it gives Mexico a BAD IMAGE!!!

Term limits. Our founding fathers envisioned people in government who would be servants to the people and take actions for the common good. They envisioned people who would serve for a short time and then go on with their lives elsewhere in the economy. Our corruption issues started with "Career Politicians" who get greedier by the day. They only care about their own personal well being and could care less about the general populace. Pay them equivalent to the private sector and give them the same retirement benefits everyone else gets. The pols. in D.C. in particular are so far removed from the general population that they have no clue as to what everyone else has to deal with. May catch flack over this one but being an attorney should also disqualify someone from running for public office.
