Guess he really got above his raisin'. Maybe he could be shamed into doing something for the local economy- if enough people write or email or whatever via his agent, if he has one.

Ronnie doesn't feel that Robbinsville is his home town as he was raised elsewhere by an uncle. He really has no emotional ties to Graham County.

Read his book, "Almost Like a Song" and it might give you a little insight as to why he holds no great love for Robbinsville.

He is, however, one of my all-time favorite singers and has been since I was a child. Not because he was born in the county, but because his style was unique and his voice is awesome!

It would be great if he would come and do a concert here, but I really don't see it happening.

He should be thankful if he hadnt been raised somewhere else he wouldnt have discoverd his talent.

Ronnie Milsap is playing two Valentines Day Weekend Concerts in the Midwest. Friday Feb 10, 2012 Secrest Auditorium Zanesville Ohio; Saturday Feb 11, 2012 Watseka Theatre Watseka, Illinois. I wouldn't miss them for the world.
