Part of the reason her first album was one of the top ten greatest rock album of all time. Also one of the best rock albums to play while driving Vegas in a 'vette at 130 mph at 2am on a Tuesday morning. Or so I've heard.

Chrissie Hynde gone cougar? And performing as an opening act? Funny how the most interesting bit in the article has nothing to do with the headliners! Joan Baez? OK, yeah. Roger McGuin? Yes. Smokey? A God! Lucinda Williams? Check. But the part that interested me was the almost hidden reference to Chrissie Hynde being in a new band!

Joan Baez, Smokey Robinson and Chrissie Hynde are hardly "Giants" - more like "what ever happened to..."

The Beach Boys basically suk.

The only interesting act here would be Lucinda Williams.

Don't be so snotty, and just do what me and my family do. Get some innertubes and a couple of paddles, string em together, and launch your low-cost flotilla from the nearby boat docks and paddle over by the rocks behind the stage.
If you put a board across one of your innertubes, you can put all your food there. Keep your food in large ziplock bags, so the KFC doesn't get hosed, a plastic gallon water bottle for the wine, and kool aid for the kids, and you've got a cheap family outing to remember.
If you're not rich, you must always think "outside the box" to make sure your family doesn't miss any fun. Try it sometime, bub!

Just because someone is being sarcastic, doesn't mean you have the intelligence to pick up on it.
