It was a great show! They may be old...but they can still rock. Thanks to the organizers for putting this on in Trumann. We need more events in town. The place was packed and they came from all over.

Greetings from the UK! I was very interested on Youtube to see footage of your wonderful relation, Joyce Green at the Vaden records event, 2010. In the UK, there's a massive interest in authentic rock 'n' roll and as writer for Vintage Rock magazine, I am researching a story,''50s women of rock'. Did you know that in our fave r&r hitlists here, Joyce's Black Cadillac is always number one? We think she's fabulous but something of a mystery! All we know is that she only made this one record in 1959 aged 19. If Vaden records went down in 1962, why on earth was Joyce not picked up by another label to become deservedly big like Wanda Jackson? Or was it her own choice? Also what fired her so much to write such an emotive track as Black Cadillac? I would so love to find out these answers and if you could ask Joyce on my behalf and email me back on [email protected] message lining Joyce Green, it would make my day - and satisfy our readers curiosity! With thanks in advance for your kind time.

You do know you are posting to a town of about 6-8000 people and 99% of them are on crystal meth so bad they won't remember anything about the information you are looking for.
