Zodiac story likely a hoax

A woman claiming her late father was the Zodiac serial killer is likely fabricating the story, one investigator in the notorious case said Wednesday.

They have to tell us this was a Hoax? The FBI is reinvestigating the case, but for a different, viable suspect.

And all of them are dead. If the Zodiac is dead, then why does it really matter? We can't prosecute him. He can't hurt anyone.

Gary Ridgeway (Green River Killer) took his then 6 year old son with him on at least one occasions (probably more) when he picked up & killed a woman. He actually used the child to reassure them that he wasn't the GRK. I agree that she's probably making it up but serial killers, by definition, have no sense of empathy & no conscience. They view all people (even their families) as tools to be used by them to maintain a facade of normality.

Um, for someone to be a killer, they can't be wrapped too tight to begin with. I'm sure taking a child, though unfathomable to a normal person, wouldn't be as absurd to a serial killer.
