The best comic-book movies and fantasy films have spoiled us. They've already given us a sublime comedy-drama about a lovelorn superhero in Spider-Man 2 and a religious fable with energy as well as allegory in ...

No matter what you say, we'll love the movie! It's Superman, the all time best superhero!!! I loved Superman when I was a kid and I can't wait to watch this movie!

He's a critic. It was a good critique, but it has nothing to do w/ whether or not people will enjoy the movie. Dorrie, it won't ruin the movie for you. Just go & enjoy it...or not.

I saw the new superman interviewed & I swear he sounded & exactly like the Clark Kent persona Chris Reeves portrayed - during the interview! Really freaky!

This is the most accurate review of a film I have ever read.
There is nothing really terrible about the movie... there just isn't anything spectacular to bind you to it.
Everything seemed to build up rapidly a high expectation, only to just... happen.
The movie ended.
I went home.
.... I think Singer was too caught up on icons from earlier films and on not making mistakes that he couldn't make a powerful film.

the awaited film for the year. the movie is worth watching because of some reasons. first, the new superman is super gorgeous, good-looking... that for sure made him a superman for some ladies. secondly, it wasnt an action film afterall, it was
a love story though. and that keeps me in seeing the movie again!!!

Well, I saw the movie. It was ok/good. I thought the special effects were great. The movie is too long at almost 3 hours...which would have been fine if the pace was fast. It was very slow at times. I didn't have my expectations extremely high but, my loyalty was routing for the film. I thought Brandon Routh did a fantastic job at filling the role of Superman! Kate Bosworth was a hum-drum version of Lois Lane. I like her and I think she's a good actress but, she didn't make the role her own or capture the "spunky" essence that we all love in Lois. The love-triangle was a little weird too. Over all, the movie was ok. I'm just glad to have Superman back in our hearts. If it were a sequel it would be considered a flop with good special effects.
