Liotta's Smith Cancelled

RAY LIOTTA's new crime drama SMITH has been cancelled by US TV network CBS after only three episodes.

Yes!! I can't believe it either...it was a great show!!! Sadly, the cancellation is really an indication of who your average primetime TV viewer is today! Hope HBO picks up the show...it needs a more sophisticated and mature audience!!!

THAT'S IT????? This was a great show! My husband and I feel cheated out of a GREAT show. and Ray Liotta was great, the plot was good.

Are the network execs hyped up on amphetamine frenzy or something, cancelling, chopping and moving stuff without even a second's thought? You have to give SOME time for an audience to react and warm up to things. I thought it was a great, intelligent show, and I wanted to see more. And I liked the cast.

Obviously the network execs are too socially inept to have the human qualities necessary to understand how viewers' minds work. Three weeks isn't enough for ANY new show. Why didn't they cancel it half-way through the first episode and then just show half a re-run of 60 Minutes? Why wait 3 weeks?

What a mistake.

Do you think people loved CSI in the first 3 episodes? Why do the stupid shows stay around, and intelligent ones with good acting get nixed?

Give people a chance to SEE these shows, and at least enough time for word of mouth to spread.

Insane. Sad.

This was the best new show of the fall season. I can't believe it was cancelled! It is amazing to me the Ghost Whisperer is still on and a great show like Smith could be cancelled after only 3 episodes. You blew it CBS!

this was a great show, i had enough of the csi's and murder investigation shows, this kept you entertained with a great ensamble of character actors, CBS should really re think their decision and give it a chance, i''m sure that more people will watch it and be hooked.

I think, I may be wrong, but it seems that maybe Harper and Bush got together and had something to do with the cancellation Of Smith After all, the bad guys were winning and they don't want the public to even think that the bad guys can win at anything. The governments are turning the public into crowds of paranoids and that's just where they want them.

I absolutely agree with everyone else. Smith was the best new show on this season--CBS is crazy! How on earth can they gauge any success by cancelling after ONLY THREE SHOWS! Cast was brilliant, great actors and had great chemistry together. Shame on you, CBS!!

CBS is a network for old, lame, boring people and the execs just proved it even more by canceling Smith. I have't watched a cbs show in years and Smith brought me back. Now, I won't be viewing cbs for 20-30 more years or until I turn old, lame and boring. I truly hope Smith gets picked up by another network. Ray Lioatta was great so was Johnny Miller and Amy Smart, everyone on the show is a quality actor. It's a shame how lame rich old people can ruin something so cool.

What a shame. Shades of last year when all my favorite shows were cancelled. Smith was a really great show, 'HBO' quality . I could'nt believe it was on network TV......figures. It would be nice to finish a story arc before a show was cancelled.

It is so sad to see a show of this caliber taken off the air after just 3 episodes. I am really floored. To replace it with CSI re-runs? It really is absurd how much advertisers run the show these days. Three is not enough to make that call. Do you think Cheers or Seinfeld was judged after 3 episodes? No way.

This is a great show. If HBO picked it up, I would subscribe to HBO just for this show.

Come on HBO don't let us down!!
