His 1995 CD "An Oscar Peterson Christmas" is one of my favorites. When I dug out the Christmas music this year, his CD was one of the first few I played.

A great talent gone. We are fortunate his wonderful music lives on.

This is so sad and unexpected. The Jazz world lost another great one. He will be missed. He played the piano so beautiful and he played with the best in the Jazz business. Other Jazz greats who have passed on are probably having a jam session in heaven, playing for the One.

A treasure who will surely be missed. My mother's favorite pianist.
