The price of the fair is way to high, they most likely would have had better attendance if
the price was not so high. I can remember when it was $5.00 to get in and that included rides just not the shows. The way the economy is they should have took that into consideration, with people out of jobs they can't afford to go. It all comes down to making money. All this money they make on the fair where goesw it go anyway?

CruiserTwelve, sorry to disappoint you but Rascal Flatts is a "Country Pop" group that showcases two local band members. Their style of country music isn't necessarily what I like, but they are good, and they do a lot of good for our local community.

I love the Ohio State Fair. I love the agricultural exhibits they have there. Each year I am somewhat saddened to see the fair come to an end because this kind signals the end of summer, as the kids are usually back in school about 2 1/2 weeks after fair's end.

I have a couple of things I would like to see done to improve the fair experience:
1. Have the Jr. Horse Show for the 4H kids actually during the fair. As it is right now, this show is 2 days before fair and the first 2 days of fair. I, along with many others love watching the kids show their horses. Give them more exposure to the public.

2. Do away with a large part of the Midway. That place is nothing but trouble, especially after about 5-6 P.M.

Also, a big heartfelt thank you to the Ohio State Highway Patrol. You guys (and Gals) acted so professionally and courteous it was unbelievable. You represent your department and the state of Ohio well.

An extremely popular Country Pop group. Surprised you haven't heard of them as they've been around for a while now.
