Why is it that there are so many celebrities putting their two cents worth in on issues that doesn't concern them? I suppose it is just another way to see their name in print.

Why don't all of you lay down your guitar's and microphones and apply for a job in the "real" world! Just how much luck do you think you would have in finding work right now that would support the way of life you have grown accustomed to!

Remember the song "Coal Miner's Daughter" by the great Loretta Lynn? She was singing about the heritage she was proud of and how her daddy provided for his family! How about "40 Hour Week" by Alabama? I remember a line about thanking the West Virginia Cosl Miner's for their time! How about the line "Hello Detroit Auto Worker's" Isn't Detroit where Kid Rock is from? I'm sure coal from mountain top removal has played a large part in the auto industry. Why not just shut them down too?

How about all of you take the time to visit the mines in Kentucky and Virginia and tell the worker's you are in favor of ending the way they provide for their families. Just how much of your music do you think they will be listening to then? Take a tour of the mountain after the reclamation process is complete!!

I believe the people of Appalachia should have a CD burning! Maybe we can all heat our homes from the flames of the artist's from this meeting. On second thought, probably not. Most everyone mentioned here, other than Kid Rock, probably jumped on the "band wagon" to try to boost their dead careers!!!!
