First of all I will start off with something about me so everyone can get a sense from where I come from. Im 21 year old who is an avid bollywood movie buff, especially of the golden period, wish for me is the 60's & 70's! Oh, how i wish i was born in the 50's so I truly live in those two glorious decades! Anyways i love collecting ANYTHING that has to do with his time period, so i have collected numerous articles and pictures, which i have been sharing with people through my blog ( http://431bollywood.blogspot.com/ )(pls try to ignore the Rajesh Khanna post, im just putting out my feelings, not trying to hurt anyone!)
I have gone through the topix for Rajesh Khanna and it is absolutely amazing to see the kind of the sheer volume and dedication of his fans. It truly amazes me I thought I was a big fan of Madhuri Dixit & Madhubala but all the people here surpass e by miles! So as a treat for his loyal fans i thought I would share some of me Rajesh Khanna memorabilia with you guys! So I'm going to post links to articles and pictures that I have collected of Mr. Khanna over the years. I would like to add that all the material I will post has not been scanned by me originally they are other peoples images that I have just collected!

KAREN--thanks, great stuff! I had chanced upon your albums earlier through Sitaji's site. I echo Mustafa, we'd be very grateful if you could share any articles or interviews related to Rajesh Khanna especially from the old film mags. This forum as you can tell is primarily comprised of his fans, some rabid (!), others more objective. And then we have some spoilers who lurk around here to deliberately put things off track. We manage to trundle along nevertheless! Welcome again. Hope to see you here often.

After looking at his snaps especially the ones in the long hair I must say that he was just too handsome to be called boy next door.

During his hey days Kaka looked very innocent, fresh and smart.
His appearance kept on changing even in the same movie. In some scenes he looked so handsome and in others just normal.
However in scenes of some of movies such as Safar, Aan Milo Sajna,Aradhna, Kati Patang,Dushman and Amar Prem he looked awesome.
Unfortunately he did not take care of himself and aged too fast later on.
People used to say that at the age of 30, he looked like 20-22 and at the age of 40, he looked like 50.

No , you are not correct but he definitely looks much older and fragile than other stars/actors of his age.
Excessive alcohol/stress and no physical excercise
had to show its toll and it is visible in more than one way now.

No, now you are incorrect. I am regularly watching him in his MEGA TV SERIAL on every Thursday and Friday; he looks much much better and too handsom than all of his contemporaries. In Wafa itself he looks great and dashing, especially in the song sequence Tera Bagair Kis Tahar....(the promo song of the film). These are not all; in some recent photographs with Jitendra, Shatru, Raja Murad, Rakesh Roshan, Kaka looks great and handsome in comparison to all others present in that scene. It is your enough biased comment about his age factor. We also watch Jeetendra regularly in a Dance reality show; his shrinking face is very apparent there. I fail to understand all negative attitudes of general people towards Kaka only. Seems that in all spheres of life he only committed a big big crime and no positive factor left about him for
general public.

His looks in his youth resembles that of popstar Bruce Springsteen.

You seem to be having something missing which does not allow you to observe and think out of routine. You seem to be unable to have a holistic view and have a tendency to believe that whatever you think is the correct; wrongly though.

In terms of freshness, yes but overall Bruce looks more fitter.

Considering Springsteen is 7 years younger than Kaka, I'd imagine that his looking fitter shouldn't be a surprise. But I don't think Kaka in his youth looked like the Boss at all.
