Rajesh Khanna to be felicitated with Lifetime Achievement Award at IIFA

Babumoshai Once Again: They shared the same stage after 16 years. Blessed were all of us to see Rajesh Khanna and Amitabh Bachchan standing together in flesh! AB introduced the original superstar who was conferred with the Lifetime Achievement Award with the words: "When I used to see his craze among his fans I used to wonder if I could ever make it as a hero in this industry." To this, Khanna gave him a long hug and a peck on his cheek.

I agree with Abhijit, BUT for different reasons.

Amitabh look fake! He hosted the IIFA function ...and get praised by everyone (including our Kaka) for nothing.

....at least Kaka just said "Babu moshai"...and not AB. To Kaka AB is just "Babu Moshai"!

...to everybody else attending the IIFA...he was BIG B?

" My wife Renu and I went for the IFFA AWARDS ceremony this year. When Rajesh Khanna got the Lifetime Achiecement Award, I stood up and clapped for him I'am one of his biggest fans. That's not all. When I saw the two stalwarts of hindi cinema - Amitabh Bachchan and Rajesh Khanna, walk side by side, I let go of my inhibitions and started clicking pictures of my phone camera. My wife was a little upset because I was behaving typically like a star struck fan but for a moment it all seemed worth it.

Rajesh Khanna is perhaps the first and last Superstar. A personality like Amitabh bachchan comes once in a while in centuries. Together, they controlled the cine goers and the nation in 1970s and 1980s. Whatever, people and websites say now but the 1970s and 1980s had 80% cinegoers in two camps - either Rajesh Khanna or Amitabh Bachchan.
