Probably due to the street gang violence in Gettysburg. It's out of control.

Don't you ever sleep? Are you really up at 3am dropping pointless nuggets on a board no one will read or respond to except to point out what a sad loser you must be to troll a vacant board at zero dark 30

You're obviously upset, obsessed and concerned about it. Take your own advice, you are the pathetic one.

Also, in the English language, interrogatory sentences are punctuated at the end with a question mark. Don't let your frustrations make you forget what you learned or should have learned in 3rd grade.

I appreciate the sentiment, but I must admit, these men are fools, I would reserve the word "hero" for those truly on the cutting edge. Pummelling these Gettysburg intellectual lightweight buffoons is like batting practice.

Holy avalanche of posts Batman. Well, I see you have a busy Friday night ahead of you, stuck in a craphole town that you hate, so I'll let you get to it. I'm off to dinner. It's a nice place so obviously very far from your podunk town. Be well. By the way, you need new material. Scrolling through your stuff I couldn't tell a year ago from yesterday. I'm sure Pink Eye would appreciate it. She's the only one left who takes you seriously. May be the only one left period so treat her well.

So, you're not here? These postings your making aren't really here, and its just Davenport and myself?
How are you doing it? It must be a trick of mirrors and light perhaps....

BTW, Tommorow is the St Patrick's Day parade in Jim Thorpe. You and the rest of the d' bags from Gettysburg should attend, see how getting people to visit your town is done.
If you want to talk to me I'll be wearing a green hat and shirt.

So Gettysburg, a town that gets over a million visitors a year, should ask Jim Thorpe how to get people to visit? You are completely out of you t!Ts lady.

LOL. She hates getting one-upped in her self-proclaimed kingdom! Let's see her go completely off the edge. We can no longer put all of our eggs in the tourism basket and expect to survive. A variety of attractions will keep visitors in town longer and bring additional revenue to the town. I believe that if Maryland shows even the slightest interest in placing a casino near enough to Gettysburg to siphon some of the visitors to the area you can bet that Gettysburg will suddenly look very attractive to casino promoters in PA. They won't want all that casino revenue funneled to another state.

Gettysburg is worth a pound of horse poop to anyone who wants to start a casino anywhere with cultured people. I'd rather be at some Indian Nation bingo parlor than waste my time in Gettysburg.

If PA legalized gambling at monster truck rallys then maybe Gettysburg would get its casino finally. Attendees of such events would be the type of local idiot hillbilly that would end up blowing his paycheck at a casino in this GDMFing town. Dumb hicks in wife beater undershirts. They basically are stupid, drooling morons.

Its shocking how dumb Gettysburg locals are. They don't understand that if they destroy the good name of Gettysburg they'll have nothing else. Maybe Observer can dance for some money but with that amount a single item at the Dollar Store would be out of reach.
Its unfortunate that Gettysburg doesn't have the advantages like a Jim Thorpe has, and that's locals that understand how to make it attractive for vistors. The locals love tourism, but Gettysburg hates tourism, its evident by how unfriendly the locals are.

How many visitors does Jim Thorpe get a year?

Why must you dumb locals ALWAYS point fingers at other towns??? Jim Thorpe doesn't get the millions in federal dollars that Gettysbug gets, and it is able to keep law and order in the streets, and not have a gang crime crisis going on. Unlike Gettysburg, where things are out of control and are just getting worse. And you clowns think a casino is coming to your little jerkwater crossroads?
Stop denying denying denying and pointing fingers at everyone else. Take a long hard look at yourselves in the mirror, you should be disgusted with yourselves.

The web site states "several thousand" a year. 3 million to Gettysburg a year. Expectations up to 4 million for the special 150th Anniversary Events this year.
