I was an active duty Marine when she did her rendition of the Star Spangle Banner at the 1991 Super Bowl; it will always be a classic, and I still get chills of pure patriotism listening to it today.

Her voice and music touched your soul; and her life was filled with drama, inspiration and train wreck entertainment…

Damn, she’s dead; you act as if she did something cruel to someone, or as if she was a nasty person. She was a great American with flaws, just like most people. She had her demons, but you are one miserable SOB to just come on here splashing around in the sewer of negativity as you attack her for no logical or sensible reason. Grow up.

Why is anybody surprised? Just the other night she was photographed looking like she was just scraped off the sidewalk. I've always said her greatest hits were the ones she took off her crack pipe. Yeah, and it's not a "black thing", right? LOL! Whatever.

Yuck on springsteen. She was pretty good considering she sold over 170 million..... She was a mother, daughter, and friend so we should all show respect.

Her life was a train wreck because liberalism is a train wreck ideology - liberalism killed her.

She did drugs because of liberal culture where there is no real love and family - Just a bunch of warm and fuzzy communist crap about 'community.'

Cold and dead hearts - liberals - let her die.

Only conservatism - social conservatism - builds great societies and great people. Whitney is died because nobody cared enough - liberals are souless a-holes who've built their hell right here on earth.

That’s funny; last time I check, Rush Limbaugh isn’t a liberal, but he abused drugs to the point of losing his hearing. Does his ideology cause him to be a self-absorbed obese crack-head?

She was special... had a God given talent. Her drug addiction was very sad. I am sure her daughter and mother are inconsolable.
