Another victim of the Rock'n'Roll lifestyle. . . my sympathy to Kevin's family and bandmates, especially Alex Grossi, a local boy who managed to break out of CT. Good luck, Alex.

Smoke em' if you got em'. This guy was relevant 20 years and now he is irrelevant. "COme on hear the noise, girls rock your boys!" After that sentence he became irrelevant.

Didn't he just re-record "Come on Feel the Noize" as "I Can't Feel my Nose"?

Kinda sad, really, that he never evolved beyond the stereotypical '80s rock-star persona.

Far be it for me to condemn drugs--he wants to party, fine. But you start pushing 45-50 years old after eating crap food on the road and hardly sleeping, you have to know when to slow it down a little. Was never a fan, though they seemed like a fun band.

Too bad. My condolences to his family.

So this rock dirtbagg ODs on coke...a common occurrence in the entertainment industry. Time and again, these "enlightened" celebs die from ODs, get arrested for drugs, etc. They have tremendous influence on young kids yet, never have I read of Congress calling anyone from this industry before a special inquiry board to investigate drugs in the industry.
That show is saved for Barry Bonds and other athletes who have committed the dastardly crime of using steroids or other performance enhancing substances.
Still not acceptable but it seems a huge double standard! Cocaine is okay for entertainers but roids are bad for baseball players. One goes to jail...one gets another movie contract.

Agreed.

I just can't care about rock star overdoses and race car drivers smashing into walls. To me there is no difference, both die as a result of risky lifestyle choices. Next.

How stunted a person do you have to be to be over 50, your body already breaking down (let's face it, it's true) and doing something as truly mindless as taking a drug that speeds up your heart? Be stupid at 20 and at least get smart by 40. By the way, the cooler rock stars abandoned drugs years ago already.

Happy New Year, Capricorn! I don't think the hair of the dog will help much this morning! If you're socialising again today, keep a rein on your expenses, as there could be a slight confusion in financial matters. Friends will be at your side and bail you out if there is a crisis.
