"the Roman Catholic church doesn’t need 'the successor of Peter popping in and out.'”

That's what I said, but Mommy didn't believe me, either.

what catholics are in australia? Cangaroos and coalas? It is really pathetic. Naturally thais criminal, global regime of usa infiltrated this church and it led to election of such guy as cardinal Ratzinger for pope.
Did catholic church during leadership of pope Benedict achieve something reasonable? The only one respons for all problems of the world and gold standard for everything was fight against abortion and naturally pray for pope, all catholic officials and all politicians from usa, western europe. It is really pathetic and it is not very strange, why there are less and less people, who believe.

Don't hold your breath waiting for a Vatican Spring,
under a new evil old man it will be just more of the same ad infinitum. The RC cult is the world's largest recruiter, trainer, employer and protector of
sexual predators and pedophiles, and has been so for centuries. This is an abrahamic cult which is socially destructive and centrally managed and anti women, administrated solely by men. Who wear dresses.
A good rule of life is : " meet a catholic, run away as fast as you can, especially if you are a small boy."

I have been a proud Australian Catholic for many years and I am offended by how the majority of Australians are treating us, our Church and our beliefs in contemporary times.

The Catholic church was not and will not be the only organisation to cover up childhood abuse. Governments are the biggest liars and scheamers, yet that top cop blames the Church. There are Officer's in Sydney who are convicted child abusers, yet are still working.

I was disgusted and angry with how the church handled the abuse allegations. That said I have found being a catholic in this country trying of late- Australia is by culture and morals a majorly athiest society. It seems to be lending itself to American Jewish ideologies of greed, selfishness and arogance.

Christine Kenealy is a case in point. Her comments implying that women and women-priests could have somehow had a good affect on the sexual abuse committed by priests and the acceptance of homosexuality by the Church are appalling. Furthermore she is not a man of the cloth and has no right to comment on these. Eve was made to assist Adam and that is why all priests are men. It baffles me in this country why so many Australian women are so offended by men being men? These women have issues. The Catholic church is a highly traditional and sacred institution based on the bible. If a nations Constitution is rigid, the bible is set in stone.
