Oh? The Catholic majority of the supreme court ruled that public prayer, to God, before government meetings is ok. This is a remarkable shift in a 20 yr trend of anti religious rulings.
Another reason to smile:
The late night talk show circuit is ruled by Catholics now. lol
Steven Colbert - not shy about his devotion to the Catholic faith; once recited the Nicene Creed during a show; has taught religious education classes at his parish.
Jimmy Fallon - has made it known during interviews that his Catholic faith was a huge part of his upbringing. During an interview with NPR, Fallon shared fond memories of attending daily Mass as a child and being an altar server. Fallon even revealed he discerned a possible vocation to the Priesthood.
Jimmy Kimmel- has discussed his Catholic faith off camera, and is credited with bringing a tradition of his New York Italian-Catholic heritage - the annual celebration of the feast of St. Gennaro, complete with Mass and procession thru the streets - to his current home of Los Angeles.
Conan O'Brien (TBS)- was raised in a devout Irish-Catholic family. Hasn't demonstrated the same devotion the last few yrs....but still says "I DO believe, and this might be my Catholic upbringing, I think things do happen for a reason - I really do".

I just respect your views June, that's why I didn't add God Bless you to my post. I would love to add that if you don't care? I would love to call you Miss June if you wouldn't mind. It's all I can do not to call you sweetheart but you've already showed me you didn't like that one!! LOL

I like you June. I've already told you that before, you don't bother or scare me one bit, and I mean that in a good way. You're just June to me, a smart, witty lady, that believes different than I do. Big deal. Now I'm gonna put God Bless below June, and you better leave it be!! LOL

God Bless Miss June.

It doesn't bother me. I simply wondered why it's such a hot topic with you since you go ballistic about it all the time.

I don't know what the limits are on the number of times. It's quite a long and involved process, usually about a year. Nothing like what "Chuck" said; he's just being spiteful. There's a lot of misunderstanding surrounding it, even among Catholics. That's one of the reasons why I told you that one doesn't have to seek an annulment as long as they don't remarry.

My best friend got an annulment after almost 20 years of marriage and 3 children. I had no idea they were never married.

The Protestants that I studied that chose to join the Catholic religion, are those who fall for the dogma that only through Catholicism can they find the "fullness" of the Christian faith.

Other Protestants however believe that the Catholics were and are liars, and that "they" in turn have found the fullness of the faith.

Many JWs are positive that their mentalities are aligned to the first Christians that they believe were the essence of pure holiness and had received divine messages straight from Jehovah. Yet they refer to their selves as Christians.

Those are the games people in religion desire to play with their own psyches.
