Personally, I would prefer to see our children taught how to think critically and objectively for themselves. If they at least were equipped with that tool of mind, they could and would find their "truth" no matter what was "taught" in science or religious studies classes.
Me too. We agree. Objectively speaking, evolution theory is the basis of 21st century medicine.

Gene (DNA) therapies are being advanced through objective evolutionary biology and science.

Be grateful. Think critically. What works and what doesn't?

We agree!

It's not "my theory," but the answer is no.
I don't have a problem with advanced theories such as evolution or gravity.
The puzzle seems to fit.
Regarding evolution, the sequencing of DNA along with advances in evolutionary biology - all seem to further verify the theory.
Everything continues to fit - from different scientific disciplines.
Do you believe this is a conspiracy of some sort?

Nope.

So you follow the rules of your own religion.

Well, now at least you admit you have a religion.

But join the club: Christians typically only follow the rules the want to follow.

Christians had and have a very bad habit of believing that anything they quote or believe is acceptable to "Jesus."

Had Jesus lived, I suggest he would have had a voice of his own and thoughts of his own, and a book in his own hand-writing.

And his legacy would have been the thoughts of a Jew .... faithful to Judaism.

By USING your lie-filled theologies, as Christians you want to lie about Jesus as you did about Judas ... and that is not being HONEST to SELF!

Your religions are comparable to train-wrecks.

Too bad they abandoned plant based medicine. A proper well balanced diet and plant based cures will cure or control all of man's physical maladies, except some brought on by chemical ingestion/injection.

Hopefully your muslim murdering brothers will "find you". It has been obvious for a very long time you are no Christian. You pro-muslim statement speaks for itself.
<quoted text>
Take note Liam. The Roman Catholic church/Roman Empire is responsible for more deaths than any organization that has ever inhabited this planet. Nobody with one active brain cell would trust a murdering rouge "religious" cult like yours.
<quoted text>
What's not true stupid. You make a statement "not true!" with no reference. Try reading my POST. My post!!!! Not your interpretation of MY POST.
Quote from MY POST, "The Roman Catholic church/Roman Empire is responsible for more deaths than any organization that has ever inhabited this planet." End quote.
Over 100 million people were slaughtered by the Roman Empire and their modern day counterpart the Roman Catholic church. This is an historic fact.
The next time you think of posting to me go in the bathroom and flush yourself where you belong. Just sayin'
lol! yeah - the roman empire is/was an evil regime before and after they merged paganism with quasi-christianity!

do you still love me?:-)

That is in part why you left Atheist to jump right back into Catholicism.

The other part is fear AND arrogance. You first left Protestantism to go to Catholicism because you thought the you would be saved, while the Protestants would go to hell.

You are a mental cripple.

Is science seeking the truth?
In all areas?
What compels science, or rather, more accurately perhaps, a scientist to engage the scientific method for proof of any theory?
What about the scientific method would you change?
<quoted text>
You seem to think that I oppose science. You are incorrect.
Again, What compels science, or rather, more accurately perhaps, a scientist to engage the scientific method for proof of any theory?
You have stated that there is no compelling reason for science to engage in "finding God" (paraphrased). Correct?
What is the "compelling reason" for science to engage in "finding" out anything?
Another pointless question, with many "right" answers. What do you think compels scientists to find anything?

I said that science does not concern itself with finding god, or anything mystical.

All science begins with the assumption that there is a natural cause for everything.

Science does not assume a mystical or supernatural cause.

Otherwise for example, if a scientist were trying to discover the cause of lightning, how many natural causes do you believe the scientist would have to eliminate before he explained that "it must be an act of God."

I'm not saying that Medieval science wasn't great. I just don't believe you have a good understanding of modern science, what it is and what it is not.

I like having a rational God, for whom I do not need to ignore the lessons of physical reality.

I am grateful for all the discoveries. I believe knowing more about the universe allows me to understand God better.

Try it.

Had I actually done which you accuse,(equating) I would not have placed the two separate thoughts in separate sentences and separate paragraphs.
There also was a disclaimer which said that I was not speaking of "dominion" as a Biblical or other "religious" source for the concept of "dominion". Note the quotation marks are also in my prior post.
My remarks were specifically pointing out that man does dominate the other species at will, and it is because we are "special" (to use June's word). The point of June's was that man is an animal but not "special" in comparison.
Reread it without your preconceived "Christian" stereotype.
I agree that words often lose much in translation.
In what way is man "special?"

Again, you keep beating around the bush.

Are you trying to say that man was put here by UFOs and is not a part of nature?

No big deal, as long as you realize it's all wishful speculation. I agree that I have no proof of UFOs.

But there have been many UFO sightings from reliable sources like pilots, so I believe I have as much evidence for my speculation as you do for yours.

If you're lucky, you might get this "divine" treatment.

And by the way, note the word "smallest." Had he been honest, he would have used the word "heretic."

Pope washes feet of young Muslim woman prisoner in unprecedented twist on Maundy Thursday

While popes have for centuries washed the feet of the faithful on the day before Good Friday, never before had a pontiff washed the feet of a woman. That one of the female inmates at the prison in Rome was also a Serbian Muslim was also a break with tradition.

“There is no better way to show his service for the smallest, for the least fortunate,” said Gaetano Greco, a local chaplain.
