Instead of ranting, why don't you try and understand the dangers of SIN????
I don't believe in sin in the context that human behavior offends a god.

Homosexuality offends YOU ... you homophobe ... and that is why you use your bible to bully Tony into believing that HE is offensive to "God."

Without your bible, you would be just another mean person picking on homosexuals.

By the way ... you might believe you are sin-free (nigh-on perfect)... but your homophobia is very plain to all who want to see your REAL self.

in Matthew 5:32 Jesus says:
But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for marital unfaithfulness, causes her to become an adulteress, and anyone who marries the divorced woman commits adultery.
In Matthew 19:9, Jesus repeats that sentiment:
I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for marital unfaithfulness, and marries another woman commits adultery
Adultery is a major problem in the Christian faith. First, one of the commandments in the Ten Commandments specifically forbids adultery.
Even worse, in Leviticus 20 we find this:
If a man commits adultery with the wife of his neighbour, both the adulterer and the adulteress shall be put to death.
Adulterers get the death penalty. Clearly, God and Jesus want Christians to stay married for life.
So what happens? The CC comes up with the annulment game, while Protestants ignore the Bible completely on the topic.
You are fine with with ignoring or faking out god with annulments why?
Because you KNOW your god is a delusion.
You KNOW it, because no one kills adulterers any more. You know it because you associate with them.
So you find a more convenient target of hatred to validate the delusional god.
Now its gays.
How brave!
No one true God hates any of its creation.

If the Catholics or the Protestants thought that Jesus favored Judaism, they would in a flash wipe their minds clean of "his" image. Make no mistake about that issue.
Good point. Maybe Christians would be more moral too.

Jews as a whole have a lower divorce rate, and lower crime rate.

So what was Jesus' supposed reason in trying to make everyone non-Jews?

Anything goes in their delusion. Maybe Jesus wants Christians to be less moral?

Free will is a myth.
I never asked to either be created by a creator, not did I ask to be born to my parents.
I never asked to have a god create Adam and Eve as my fore-bearing sinners, so that I could be born to suffer judgment from a god for sinning.
I never asked to have men create religion and in turn tell me that I must repent of my sins or be rejected to hell.
I never asked for nor wanted any of these issues.
Free will is mythical religious bunk.
Horseshit! June.

If you did not have this free will, we would not be having this converstaion dear. You would be in a convent somewhere diddling the priest and alter boys by now.
<smile>

BTW, the catamount mother did not ask for the wolf to come and kill her kittens either dear.
The caribou did not ask for the pipeline, but has found it to be a source of heat in the extreme cold climate there, so it takes advantage of it and scratches it's back on the posts, instead of bitching that it is there.
The cottontail did not ask for the oilfield treater to be placed in his yard either, but learned that it is great protection from the prarrie winds and they give off heat for the babies too.
The moose did not ask for snowmobiles to pass through their territory, but have found that the packed trails they make are great for getting around in the deep snow.
Get over it already.
So life gave you some lemons. Stop squirting the juice in your eyes, it makes you cry. Try squirting it in a glass and throw in a little honey dear.

Of course had Jesus been alive Catholics would not have written that Jesus chose to leave his high position as a Jewish Rabbi to be baptized by a Catholic.

Almost four centuries after the tale began they compiled the nonsense in their supposed new testament.

One lie on top of another and another and another.

That's religion in a nutshell..

Jesus endorsed slavery. How absurd for a supposed god.
The obvious question that any intelligent person is forced to ask is this:
If Jesus is God, then why didn't Jesus use his omniscience and omnipotence to actually do something magnificent and beautiful on earth rather than squandering his "power" as he does in the Bible?
Think about all the problems that Jesus could have solved. At the very least, Jesus could have transcribed passages into the Bible that would have ended sexism, racism and slavery forever.
As the simplest example, think of all of the suffering that slavery has caused. Millions upon millions of people have suffered through the bondage and the remarkable brutality of slavery because Jesus and his Bible fully support it. If Jesus had simply made a clear statement -- "Slavery is forbidden, free all the slaves" -- he could have prevented all of that suffering. Yet Jesus did nothing of the sort. Instead, Jesus endorsed slavery.
Come to the true God.

You have been pre-programmed to reject it.

If you were proud enough of your beliefs, and able to defend, then I could try to explain with specifics you might understand.

I would know how you are programmed. But you are bashful and probably about 15.

Proof that your god is imaginary?
One way would be to find a contradiction between the definition of God and the God we experience in the real world.
What would happen if we get down on our knees and pray to God in this way:
Dear God, almighty, all-powerful, all-loving creator of the universe, we pray to you to cure every case of cancer on this planet tonight. We pray in faith, knowing you will bless us as you describe in Matthew 7:7, Matthew 17:20, Matthew 21:21, Mark 11:24, John 14:12-14, Matthew 18:19 and James 5:15-16. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
We pray sincerely, knowing that when God answers this completely heartfelt, unselfish, non-materialistic prayer, it will glorify God and help millions of people in remarkable ways.
Will anything happen?
No. Of course not. Your god is imaginary. Mine is the only true God

You are asking God to do something altruistic from our point of view. But in fact, people die as a result of being born. More or less you are asking that people not die. But sin has worked its way deep into humanity, and such can only be "cured" in God's Will.

I don't have to tell Tony about his life-style, as he has been on here long enough that we ALL know him and what his life-style is......

He has had many, many people tell him about his sin and his life-style......

The guy pedaling his bike across the country on the back roads with a "Jesus Saves" sign on the back certainly is not looking for worldly gain me thinks.
The lady who pays for a meal and gives it to the smelly homeless man in the corner grasping his coffee cup to get a little warmth and it is all he could afford, is surely not looking for the acolades it brings. That kind of act generally brings whispers and condescending stares.
The guy that drags a large wooden cross on his back talking to all who will listen, and is usually at the Sturgis Bike Rally, is not doing it for fame or gain dear. He is real. He tells his story and moves on ... safely ... amongst what some consider to be the hardest and baddest bad asses of the worst of human dregs of society.

Good question Robert!

Was it free will that took you out of Atheism and back into Catholicism where you would believe that you were special to a god.

Remember ... Protestantism was not good enough for you, so that means that being a Catholic meant to you that god loves and not Protestants.

Was it free will that tempted you to be so arrogant ... or was it your arrogance steering your free will.
