History is written by anyone who wants to write it.
Your Catholic church fathers were master manipulators with words they stole from the Jews, and twisted the words to their own greed-infested desires ... adding a fake savior and devil to the literature to boot.
You can project away from that history all you like "died in the wool" Catholic ... but others who want to see the lies ... WILL see.
June

Sorry June..., the Old Testament Prophets, esp. Isaiah, told of a coming Messiah that would be for the Jews, and be rejected by the Jews, and accepted by the Gentiles....That prophecy came true about 500-600 years after it was made....His name was and is Jesus.

You forgot to add you your tail that I dis ALL religions ... while you dis all other religions but Catholicism.
In that context, you are lopped-sided, and I am fair.
Distorting, twisting and manipulating the Truth is "another one of your anti-catholic bashing traits. NOWHERE have I ever said that I (dis)--or whatever else you are (concocting) here---against all other religions ,........God judges everyone and their religious beliefs on the basis of their "awareness"in regards to their faith and religious beliefs! People like you June, are so (vindictively hateful) toward ANYONE with ANY faith that you will say or do anything in an attempt to "undermine and criticize" their personal commitment to God, Jesus Christ and the Churches they worship in!.........You are fair alright!.......Fairly disoriented!!!

There is no question that you are a willful idiot. Your own religion teaches that those in all other religions will spend eternity in hell ... yet you stay and lap up what they teach as being based on solid and eternal truth.
You are a double and triple-talker. No question about that issue.
June

You are wrong again....Christianity submits to letting God be the Final Judge. Some writers try to understand and write down what they think. This does usurp God being Judge.(Expect perhaps in your mind....) Does that make you a person that is reactive, but thoughtless?

The fact that you believe your preferential theology is based on truth and the theology in other religions is based on lies ... ought to wake you out of your slumber. but your will to believe that you as a Catholic are special keeps you dumbed right on down.

So true. We are to resolve daily to avoid the nearer occasions of sin in thought, word and deed.

And it's also our Christian duty to, with charity, counsel those who resist God's grace and persevere in grave sin.

Martin Luther had no bible other than a Catholic bible.
King James 1st allowed interpreters to use the Bishop's bible (of all things) and change the words that they found necessary to change at will in order to create the Protestant KJV bible.
That is how the Protestant bibles came about ... through forgery.
And now, as you can see, when they re-post those forged scriptures, these Protesants claim to own truth straight from the sky.

I suggest that even though you entertain thoughts that others will go to hell and you will go to heaven ... if you happen to have a near-death experience, you could just as easily have a terrifying experience as a pleasant one. Keep in mind that what you entertain in your fantasies as reality, might come back to {{{HAUNT}}} you.

Kenneth was born and raised a Southern Baptist. As a child, he first made his commitment to Christ and was baptized with water. He was a member of the church all his life. He was saved, on the path toward heaven, a believer, a follower of Jesus, and he knew this assured him a place in heaven. Nevertheless, he had a NDE and it sent him straight to hell.

Robert F was a Protestant ... then a Catholic ... then flirted with Buddhism ... then an Atheist ... Now ... once again a Catholic.

He's a "YO ... YO" of wisdom.

You don't even have to ask him now to preach his Catholic dogmas ... as he is certain he now knows truth straight from the god that used by the way supposedly love only the Jews, yet suddenly lost his way to in turn be a lover of only Catholics.

It seems that all buffoons want to believe they OWN knowledge straight from the gods.

Robert Kennedy Jr's ex-wife was 'terrified' he would take children from her before she hanged herself in tragic suicide
As news of her death spread, close friends spoke of her inner torment following her very public divorce from her husband.
Robert Kennedy Jr is currently dating actress Cheryl Hines, best known for her role as Larry David's wife on Curb Your Enthusiasm.
Mary Kennedy, neƩ Richardson, was Robert's second wife and the couple married in April 1994.
Moving on: Robert Kennedy Jr. is dating actress Cheryl Hines and has been spending more time in Los Angeles since filing for divorce from Mary
Mr Kennedy divorced his first wife in the Dominican Republic a month before his second marriage. Mary gave birth to their first child three months later.
In addition to his four children with Mary, he has two older children from his first marriage.
----------
Very busy man; previous marriage ended in divorce...then married Mary, and was living in L.A. with a movie star when Mary was hanged.
Still a good Catholic? Catholic burial?
KayMarie
No one said he was a good Catholic.

He wanted out of the marriage and divorced his wife long before he petitioned for an annulment. The Church upheld the sacramentality of the marriage. He didn't care. His wife couldn't accept that he divorced her and tried to put the blame elsewhere.

A tragic situation, but it still has no bearing on the question posed a day or two ago and to which no answer has been given. Using that poor woman's suicide as a diversionary tactic wasn't such a good idea. And further spite aimed at the Catholics here isn't going to make it one.

It would be a much better idea to get back on track and answer the original question.

Wrong. On all counts.
But maybe you can answer the original question since the annulment (non-)argument was only a diversionary tactic (and too obvious)....who in protestantism is the authority to make any definitive teaching on divorce and remarriage?
Hi Regina, good point. Hope u r doing well.

No authority this is why they can divorce an remarry as often as they want. My brother in law is a minister in the south and he performed three marriages for this one man from his Baptist church he told me he deserves to be happy.(alrighty then) This is the Bible Belt for you!

Must run , have a great day! We've got 80 degree weather today. Loving it!

Concepts are "thoughts and ideas" that are merely abstract "opinions" which are (separate and apart from "concrete realities")!!!!! The reality of the verifiable, authoritative and proven TRUTH from over 2000 of authenticated and ascertained Church History is a "concrete reality"-----AND------tha t the Catholic Church (is in fact) the One True Apostolic Catholic Church, initiated and formed by Jesus Christ Himself (biblically and historically)......substantiat es the fact that--------This is NOT an abstract opinion!!!!

All devotees who are certain their bibles give them the one and only truth are "belted in" as being held in bondage TO those specific beliefs.

And you are no different.

You see SIN out there in the neighbors and holiness in YOU.

Such thoughts are based on the mental bondage of arrogance.

seem to have failed as we have no divisions among us, we have the same One Spirit of Truth and they don't.
