All religion was based on plagiarism and that includes Gnosticism.
If people were honest they would admit that there never has been any proof that a creator was real. The only place such literature was or is found is in the make-up of religion.
Any religion or belief that evolves from an earlier corrupt belief has to, in itself, be corrupt in it's evolved state...no matter the sect or as a whole. Not to say any or all have no value in lessons, because all circumstance regarding life does. It is up to the individual to evaluate the information and make reliable(viable) conclusion.

Are you so numbed-down in your brain that you believe a Jew is waiting in Protestant heaven to welcome you with open arms???

Dead or alive ... Rabbis don't believe in the existence of Christian heaven.

Your many hints in the past of how others will one day know the answers that you know, bespeaks of your high opinion of your self-perceived wisdom.

Had Jesus even lived, I suggest that having been a learned Rabbi, he would hold fast to that position and always be a Rabbi.

It would make no sense whatsoever for him to be playing with Catholics in the river Jordon and saying to John the Catholic "saint" ... "I want you to baptize me as a Catholic!"

Silly stuff indeed!

Your God makes people. Then according to you, God speaks to the people he makes.
Yet it is somehow the people's fault that they don't hear God speak?
By your "logic," when a machine breaks, it is the machine's fault, not the creator of the machine.
Next, the most absurd concept of all - "free will."
Gods R Delusions

Well..., if the machine is broken, then get somebody who is capable of fixing it, t go ahead and fix it.

The Creator is the only one that can fix the problem with sin in humanity, but people still don't want to, or refuse to listen(or just the parts they like)....

(Fooled you. I didn't take the easy "free will" root.)smiles

Catholics preached that for having a despicable religion, God would reject the Jews ... while for imprisoning, torturing, and killing the Jews, the same god would welcome the Catholics with open arms, and reward them with eternal bliss.

The monotheistic god created by the Jews, Elohim, must have (somewhere along the path of theology) suffered brain-damage.

All theologians created gods that would love only them and punish others.

What use what a god BE if it didn't side with its creator???

I love how you defend the immoral concept of collective guilt and punishment.
No Court of Law in the Western World holds the children guilty for the sins of a father.
But you defend it. Your religion is immoral at its core, by today's standards at least.
And no doubt you would view it as unfair if you were put in jail, because it was discovered that your father had committed a crime before you were even born.
You would rightly say that would be unjust and immoral.
Yes! Except when it comes to judging others by your religious "principles."
Sick stuff.
Gods R Delusions

I never said the sins of the father go to the sons.....

So if your father who is now deceased in a gun fight yesterday from a bank robbery, had given you the money, you believe by rights you inherited the money, and you are not obliged to give that money back....Hmmmm.

And if you lived in Germany as a Nazi, you should not pay for any war crimes from WWII, because you only followed orders....Hmmmm.

We live in a time, not unlike other times, when money and power corrupt justice as lawlessness breeds its own....

(By the way, courts in the Western world are as corrupt(ed) as any in any other part of the world.)

That's really comical. What you are very slowly finding and writing in the forum is exactly what I was talking about. >>>KNOWLEDGE< <<
You are becoming your own arrogant contradiction. You state that you don't want to "know' what you consider "mysteries", and are content in being ignorant...yet you continue to seek and use that which you condemn when it suits your fancy. You are a hypocrite who simply enjoys defaming and defacing everyone and everything around you...so much so, that I don't even bother correcting blatant errors or outright lies you may posit...as it is so obvious to your peers.

Happy new year.

The problem with the Catholics was, they didn't create their own god. They were so underhanded that they begged the god of the Jews to commit adultery on the Jews and in turn love only those of the Catholic faith.

But then the Muslims pulled the same trick and claimed that the one god loved ONLY them.

And sucking the hind tit in the race came the Protestants, who bragged about corralling all god's love for their selves.

What a greedy lot of groupies.

And all in the name of LOVE of one's fellow man!

Had you stayed clear of all religion, I would say that you were at least balanced and not willing to play favorites, as was the case when you slid back into Catholicism.
Who knows where you wander off to in the next of your confusion?
June

Well good then. At least I am consistent in being a dumb, ignorant fool, in your eyes.

Now lets tackle the issue of being balanced, and not playing favorites....

Since I don't subscribe to your belief that a person in religion must go around condemning others to hell, then I don't play favorites.

And if it is expedient for me to be pursue Catholicism, or Protestantism, this may or may not be backsliding from your perspective, or any other person, but if it is expedient to me, then I am moving forward, even if the whole universe moves in another direction....But since my pursuit is neither one of these, but simply vehicles to my end goal, which is Jesus Christ, then you neither knew my vehicle, nor my goal....

Those that preach holiness are often the most scary people of all, as they tend to believe that evil only resides in others.

Bob Larson is one creepy man ... teaching his daughters that they have the power to exorcize demons out of others.

YUCK!

If Gods R Delusions believes he is above religious argument, then I don't argue. I just point and laugh.

I understand his prejudice and presuppositions now, and he is defeated before he starts his diatribe. Even if he limits my responses....That is not arrogance, but instead is confidence....

Your perception of your self as being high and mighty is what took you back to Catholicism as your religion of choice.
