instead of to them if it's their posts you don't like ...tell them ..
No its easier to ASK ME..
I don't follow your logic ..
You post to me ..I answer..
I've been busy answering you guys most of the day..posts made TO ME .
That protestant post has been up over and over ..I've commented on it over and over for about two weeks ..
As if it makes things so much better
My original posts today had to do with young girls
Taken advantage of ..having to make decisions .
I suggested. we pray for them as well as the abuse victims .later on .
But I guess that's not of interests..
Fine .
And you totally ignored the point of my posts.
I responded to your lie that Kay Marie has been all past is the past or that you have been remotely fair. I guess you dont like it when I point out the fact of your hypocrisy and blatant bias. Your point is no point at all when you don't apply it to your buddies and then tell us that they arent doing what they are clearly doing. I dont have alot of time to be here and I choose not to waste it with the likes of most of the people here who claim to be Christians. You are all super holy people. I dont come here for imaginary friends on an anonymous board and cheer them on when they lie. I have a life.

I have seen far too many lies and hypocrisy from the circus clowns in here claiming to be Christians. You say alot of really stupid and incendiary things. No I dont think you are truthful and I dont believe you are as dumb and most certainly not as innocent as you try to make yourself to be. You say you do not lie and yet you do it alot or choose to be beyond clueless. I was patient and didnt attack you, but you are beyond the benefit of the doubt now. Your lack of character is evident.

Its really quite simple. Simply acknowledge that abuse is a Problem and nobody owns it. I dont expect you to defend people in the church who did wrong, but I do expect you to be a decent person and not fuel or remain silent when clear assaults on the church and clearly people are saying its not a problem in Protestant world. Thats dishonest and you have been given enough information to know that. If you ignored it then you are not interested in any truth or reality. Surprise! Acknowledge the Grahams Grandson is correct and there is alot of denial and arrogance and lack of accountablity in Protestant circles. But no you choose instead to only reply to Catholics and say nothing when Catholics or the church are singled out for attack with erroneous information. Then you defend those who attack saying they dont. Are you Nuts? But you are so innocent and all you did was wonder if Catholics have ever prayed. Well Gee according to your Apostle Preston God doesnt hear Catholics but well we try anyway. You are blind. How about telling us what Protestant churches should do instead of chiming in with Mikey and ignoring the rest. And spare us that Kay is not blind or thinks Protestants have nothing going on. Get real for once in your life. You have your own truth in a world of fantasy.

They are your imaginary friends who would turn and render you in a second if you had any scruples. Your brothers and Sisters. Do you feel no need for them to get your points that you dont adhere to? I thought not. Pretty Rich stuff you got there. ;0 You are right you are not worth the time because you have no desire to take off your blinders.

Ten fact that THERR ate,non Catholic Victims as,well as the Catholic ones ..I'm sure gives them comfort ...
The Catholics here have said that all along. The abuse card is played by your buddies and when called on it you say they didnt or you didnt participate in fueling it. You are ingoring their claims of no covering up or its not a problem.

I/We have stated it needs to be stopped wherever it is. Alot has been done but alot more needs to be done. Cheering on attacks on the church and denial festivals isnt helping anyone. Honest Protestants acknwoledge this and don't encourage finger pointing at one group and pretending its not a problem in Protestant churches or its an exclusive Catholic thing. Dont you understand that you dont need to say it? Dont you understand that when you dont say anything you are guilty of fostering a do nothing attitude? Dont you realize that when you chime in with Mikey who stirs the pot and you say nothing to anyone but Catholics about what we should do and what we could have done. Could have should have would have. My point is its a societal problem. It has not been addressed and it never will be as long as denial goes on. The church has taken massive action to correct. Catholics arent saying well that is just other Catholic churches. Many pray, get involved, educate. They dont go on anonymous boards and say we dont have any its all done its just Protestant churches. ;0 What Vomit.

Dan lives in a Catholic bubble.
That's not a rebuttal.

My point was, simply, that if something's been hidden from you and from everyone, you cannot then profess to what it contains.

<quoted text>MINNEAPOLIS -- Minnesota's Catholic community continued to absorb controversy within the church one day after learning former Archbishop Harry Flynn resigned from the Board of Trustees at the University of St. Thomas.
"It's too bad. It's too bad that it happened," said Roger Guzek, who attends the Basilica of St. Mary in Minneapolis.
"I'm disappointed that in 2013 the church still hasn't realized that abuse towards minors and covering it up is unacceptable," said Adam Tillotson, of St. Louis Park.
Flynn's resignation follows a difficult month for the Archdiocese amid a growing clergy sexual abuse scandal. Earlier this month, former Vicar General Kevin McDonough also resigned from the University of St. Thomas Trustees Board. And Rev. Peter Laird stepped down as Vicar General under Archbishop John Nienstedt.
Meantime, the Archdiocese continues to respond to accusations of a possible cover-up or mishandling of priest misconduct allegations, including the case involving Rev. Curtis Wehmeyer. Earlier this year, Wehmeyer was sentenced to five years in prison for sexually abusing two children and possessing child pornography.
The Church played a pivotal role in seeing to it that justice served Rev Wehmeyer. There was no cover up there.
Archbishop Flynn resigned due to the allegations against Fr Keating. When reports surfaced about Keatings insolvent with a couple teenage girls (when he was a seminary student, not a priest) the Archdiocese turned the matter over to the Chisago county police for possible criminal charges. The police found none to charge him with.
Now, a disgruntled former employee of the Church went to the media to smear the diocese. It worked.
We'll see how it all plays out. If there are guilty clergy, let justice be done. But so far, there is no evidence of a cover up.

How many times in america, how many times around the world do you think this scenario happened.
A priest gets caught buggering a child. Bishop covers up the abuse and the parish is informed their beloved priest is getting moved to a far way parish, where his services are needed. The unknowing women in the parish throw a "going away party" for the molesting priest giving him gifts and well wishes. As this offending priest comes to the new parish, another party. A welcoming party! with more gifts/cakes/pies.
A lot of parties given to men who deserved hard jail time not their favorite cakes and expensive gifts.

The last 3 years first time in roman catholic church history priests are forming UNIONS (associations) their main focus is upholding vatican II policies which the hirearchy is trying to undo.
The priests also want a voice in the church to be able to speak up to their bishops when issues arise, and believe priests/laity should be able to pick their bishop.
The first association of priests was formed in Ireland in 2010. Now there are several growing around the world including the AUSCP in the USA that has now over 1,000 roman catholic priests who have joined.
These priests also support the nuns in america under scruitany by the vatican.

"The Nature and Scope of the Problem of Sexual Abuse of Minors by Catholic Priests and Deacons in the United States, commonly known as the John Jay Report, is a 2004 report by the John Jay College of Criminal Justice, commissioned by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, based on surveys completed by the Roman Catholic dioceses in the United States.[1] The initial version of the report was posted on the Internet on February 27, 2004, with corrections and revisions posted on April 16. The printed version was published in June 2004.[2]The church's own John Jay report is online at John Jay Report"
In June 2002, as a result of the Catholic sexual abuse scandal in the United States, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops met in Dallas and approved the Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People. The Charter created a National Review Board, which was assigned responsibility to commission a descriptive study, with the full cooperation of the dioceses/eparchies, of the nature and scope of the problem of sexual abuse of minors by clergy. The National Review Board engaged the John Jay College of Criminal Justice of the City University of New York to conduct a study analyzing allegations of sexual abuse in Catholic dioceses in United States. The time period covered by the John Jay study began in 1950 and ended in 2002. The product of the study was a report to the National Review Board titled "The Nature and Scope of the Problem of Sexual Abuse of Minors by Catholic Priests and Deacons in the United States" and commonly referred to as the "John Jay Report".
Report summary[edit]The Report determined that, during the period from 1950 to 2002, a total of 10,667 individuals had made allegations of child sexual abuse. Of these, the dioceses had been able to substantiate 6,700 accusations against 4,392 priests in the USA, about 4% of all 109,694 priests who served during the time covered by the study.[2] Roughly 4% of the priests were accused, therefore. However, of these 4392 accused, only 252 were convicted. The number of alleged abuses increased in the 1960s, peaked in the 1970s, declined in the 1980s, and by the 1990s had returned to the levels of the 1950s."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Jay_Report
Anthony says.........The number of alleged abuses increased in the 1960s, peaked in the 1970s, declined in the 1980s, and by the 1990s had returned to the levels of the 1950s."

Michael says....

........During the past 1700 years, the Roman Catholic Church, as graphically illustrated through its Canonical, Papal, and Councilor documents, has been acutely aware of child rape and sodomy by its Bishops, Priests, and Religious. Because of many factors including the failure to enforce celibacy, growing problems of solicitation in the confessional, the neglect of the canonical enforcement of gravely sinful acts by Clerics, and the abhorrence of any scandal, the Roman Catholic Church by omission has fostered a secret world of sexual laxity that allowed children and vulnerable adults to be objects of sexual gratification for its Bishops, Priests, Religious and lay employees.

...... The crisis and the roman catholic documents made available affect every baptized Roman Catholic in the world. Thus, the lack of enforcement had put every Roman Catholic child and the faithful in peril.
