To a devout Christian the word scripture would probably mean sacred.

From my point of view, the word scripture means "to mislead those who dare to read."

Last year former Pope Benedict referred to the american nuns as "radical feminists"

Now new Pope Francis calls these 80 year old women "old maids and spinsters"

Not very nice comments about 80 year old women who dedicated their entire lives to the church sacrificing having a loving husband and children only to be slammed by the very church they help build.

May 9, 2013 - King James Version

Acts 19:1-20
1 And it came to pass , that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples, 2 He said unto them , Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed ? And they said unto him , We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. 3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized ? And they said , Unto John's baptism. 4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is , on Christ Jesus. 5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied . 7 And all the men were about twelve. 8 And he went into the synagogue, and spake boldly for the space of three months, disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God. 9 But when divers were hardened , and believed not , but spake evil of that way before the multitude, he departed from them, and separated the disciples, disputing daily in the school of one Tyrannus. 10 And this continued by the space of two years; so that all they which dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks. 11 And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: 12 So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them. 13 Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying , We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth . 14 And there were seven sons of one Sceva , a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so. 15 And the evil spirit answered and said , Jesus I know , and Paul I know ; but who are ye? 16 And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded . 17 And this was known to all the Jews and Greeks also dwelling at Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified . 18 And many that believed came , and confessed , and shewed their deeds. 19 Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together , and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver. 20 So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed .

I believe there is a God who loves me very much, I have hope and trust in God, not man.
If I put my trust and hope in man that would be foolhardy and presumptuous.
You are already dead June, spiritually speaking.
You have no joy, no hope, no peace, in the state you are in there is no future, you seek after nothing, you are a troubled soul.
I will be praying God turns things around for you June.
JESUS IS THE ANSWER FOR THIS WORLD TODAY ABOVE HIM THERE IS NO OTHER;"JESUS IS THE WAY". THE ONLY WAY.

It was 50/50......the flip of a coin, heads or tails, Jesus or Barabas.
All these bible stories are all made up to create an agenda for the early catholic fathers.
A man claiming to be the 3rd person in God born and living as a Jew, yet Jews don't believe in 3 persons in God.

I don't plagiarize other people's words. If I post from an author, I always give credit to the author.

You have no idea who wrote the words that you take as gospel truth. You plagiarize every time you use those words for your own purposes, and you give the credit for your plagiarizing to a mythical god as though you know that the god speaks through you.

When you play such misleading games with words, you are full of arrogance, and nothing but.

Christianity started by ex-Jews making up lies.

Had Jesus existed at all, he would not have even heard the word Catholic at the time he died on the cross, as at that time, there was no Catholic religion.

When you claim that a Jew would support a religion other than his own, you insinuate that he was a traitor to Judaism ... and that is not a nice way to speak of someone who you claim has admirable traits.

The whole issue is based on lies and nothing but lies.

The high of adrenaline you receive from believing you speak truth for a god is your reward.

You refuse to see that all the Catholics and Protestants that killed each other in the wars of words all thought they knew what a god expected of them.

Bible Verses for Mother's Day

Wednesday, May 08, 2013

For many of us at BST, we have our moms to thank for sharing their love for reading the Bible with us as we were growing up. So, as you can imagine, we love to celebrate them whenever we get the chance.

So, first of all, happy Mother's Day to all you moms out there. We know the sacrifices you've made, and we want to honor you for them.

If you're looking for ways to celelbrate your mom this year, we put together a list of Bible verses that could give you some ideas. It's not just Proverbs 31 either (though we love that one).

American Theocracy … by Kevin Phillips. Published 2006.

Jehovah’s Witnesses were yet another of the militant denominations assembled in the nineteenth century to await a second coming. Founder Charles Russell, who rejected the doctrine of the trinity, proclaimed that Christ had returned to earth invisibly in 1874 preparatory to establishing a full presence. The cataclysm or advent was predicted for 1914.

Mothers Day Bible Verses

Mark 10:29-30

"I tell you the truth," Jesus replied, "no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age (homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields--and with them, persecutions) and in the age to come, eternal life.

Matthew 15:4-6

For God said,'Honor your father and mother' and 'Anyone who curses his father or mother must be put to death.' But you say that if a man says to his father or mother,'Whatever help you might otherwise have received from me is a gift devoted to God,' he is not to 'honor his father ' with it. Thus you nullify the word of God for the sake of your tradition.

It is interdependent and connected by The Holy Spirit that wrote it.

it never contradicts itself.

Your interruptions .....by the adding of your assumptions only muddy the water.

American Theocracy … by Kevin Phillips.

The Mormons in the American West of the 1840s and 1850s likewise immersed themselves in self-proclaimed chosen nationhood. Utah was colonized as New Zion, and July 23, the date of Mormon entry into the promised land, became their principal holiday and their occasion for celebrating their own exodus and triumph.

Well, the whole crucifixion and resurrection thing WAS a predicate to the establishment of Christianity, so, no, neither Catholic nor Christian would have been heard by Jesus at the time of his death.

Proverbs 31:10-30

A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life. She selects wool and flax and works with eager hands. She is like the merchant ships, bringing her food from afar. She gets up while it is still dark; she provides food for her family and portions for her servant girls. She considers a field and buys it; out of her earnings she plants a vineyard. She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks. She sees that her trading is profitable, and her lamp does not go out at night. In her hand she holds the distaff and grasps the spindle with her fingers. She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy. When it snows, she has no fear for her household; for all of them are clothed in scarlet. She makes coverings for her bed; she is clothed in fine linen and purple. Her husband is respected at the city gate, where he takes his seat among the elders of the land. She makes linen garments and sells them, and supplies the merchants with sashes. She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: "Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all." Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.
