Anthony:
You seem to be indicating that;
1. You believe in Jesus and know He is against any kind of sinning, so if you sin it means you don't believe in Him.
Or
2. You never sin because you believe in Him.
Which is it?
KayMarie:
Neither.
I mean that I do not willfully sin. I live a moral life. I want to be like Him, and to be pleasing to Him. If I...or anyone else should do otherwise, they do not know Him.
However, we are flesh, and behave in sinful ways at times. Pouty, angry, vengeful reactions are not good. But John says that, "If we confess our sins TO HIM, He is faithful and just to FORGIVE US our sin, AND to CLEANSE us from all unrighteousness."
Thank you for clarifying that you do still sin, and I do too. And I also love
Jesus and believe in Him.

BTW, St. John says "confess our sins", not "confess our sins to HIM".

The Mission of the Church (any Christian Church ) is 6o lift up our Lord and Savior before the world..

As far as the sin's of individual, a local Church, or

denomination...They should be confessed unto God (in the Name of Jesus)

The Roman Catholic evidently brags, boast and accuses others in their prayers...

They are as this parable of Jesus....

Luk 18:9 And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:

Luk 18:10 Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.
Luk 18:11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
Luk 18:12 I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.
Luk 18:13 And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.

Luk 18:14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

THE ROMAN CATHOLICS ... PRAYER IS EVIDENTLY LIKE THIS..

Luk 18:11 The ROMAN CATHOLIC KNELT BEFORE HIS IDOLS and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as THESE HERETICS ARE ...

extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as these Protestants...THAT ARE SODOMIZES, HOMOSEXUALS, AND WONT EVEN WORSHIP OUR POPE

I RECEIVE THE EUCHARIST twice in the week,...I GO TO MASS..
I SAY THE ROSARY, I BOW BEFORE MY ICONS, I SAY MY HAIL MARY'S ....I REVERE THE SAINTS...I...I...I...I...

And the PROTESTANT standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.

I tell you, THE PROTESTANT went down to his house justified rather than the other:

for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

THE BIBLE SAYS..

1Jn_1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

No where does the Bible say that we should tell...GOD..OR any one else.....that we are justified ....because others are committing more of the same sins than we are.

<quoted text>it's plain an simple, the church did not exists because of devinity,it existed to satisfy a empire of both pagans and christians, and if you think about it,it is run by a group of thieves and perverts, that is why I firmly believe it is not the true church of christ, there is nothing in the scriptures that links the two together. It's all man made.
I don't believe in the nonsense written by any of the theologians, so I don't try to prove whose dogmas are right and whose are wrong.

That type of school-yard bickering never proved anything, and it caused a whole lot of dissention and shedding of blood among the right-fighters.

I thought you were suggesting that pope Francis was going to brothels in person.

I was already aware of the sexual antics between nuns and priests and nuns and nuns, and priests and priests.

What goes on in society also goes on in places of worship.

Prayer doesn't take the human out of human.

We do read our Bibles.

But what happens if we eliminate sacred tradition/oral teachings of the Apostles and the Church, and we STILL disagree with the Evangelical movement, the Jehovah's, SDA, Pentecostal, SBC, and so on?
ie What if we see Peter was the Rock, and Christ and Paul clarified the Eucharist? And Mary could not have been contaminated with sin to conceive the Christ- God Himself made manifest - with the Holy Spirit??
Remember, the whole of the Bible reveals that sin is opposite of God; God and sin would not procreate together to create the perfectly divine Jesus Christ..
Now what argument do you have? I went 'Bible alone' and this is what i've come up with.
WHO ARE YOU TO SAY I'M WRONG?

If you believe that Jesus died for your sins, then that means you can still sin and Jesus will pick up the whole tab.

Why do you keep begging him to pick up the tab for your new "sins."

The promise direct from the Catholic theologians is that Jesus died so that you would be free of all sin, not just a portion of sin.

However, the Catholics didn't even believe their own nonsense, or they wouldn't have later on created the confessional where all the new Catholic sins would automatically be forgiven by Jesus the Jew.

What a lot of silly slop those theologians taught as truth.

The other guardian of sexual morality, St Augustine, was more in tune with the pontificate of Pope Siricius. He began the Church’s condemnation of contraceptive devices. He called them the ‘poisons of sterility’ and regarded a wife who used them as ‘her husband’s harlot’.

Are you trying to convince your self ... or others ... or both?

It seems to me that people that have to keep bragging about their own salvation, are in doubt that such a future event will actually come to fruition.
